Ugh your collection is so beautiful - I only have a couple new that I've bought and not read yet! Surprisingly I only have two of the ones you mentioned though, the Stevenson and Cranford!

Great collection! Have you seen that The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Villette are going to be released in the Penguin Clothbound editions? I know they are not the easiest to read because they wear but they are beautiful! Saw them on Amazon. Happy Reading!

I did see those! They're on my wishlist and I'm waffling on getting them.

A Passage to India by E M Forster is one of my favourite books so I felt a little disappointed by A Room with a View. I'll probable eventually give it another go. I also really didn't like Agnes Grey by Anne Brontë which is the only novel of her's I've read. I'll try The Tennant of Wildfeld Hall though. The Scarlet Letter was a really surprising hit with me, I adored his style. Far From the Madding Crowd is also a real favourite of mine. I also have the English Library edition of that one but with the movie cover. I don't normally like movie tie-ins but I think it's subtle enough to still be attractive!

I really love "A Room With a View" with Helena Bonham Carter, she makes the most winsome Lucy Honeychurch!

I really really enjoyed this video! Can you please tell why don't you like Henry James?

I find him to be exceptionally misogynistic. I've tried repeatedly at different works of his and just find myself wanting to strangle the man.

Hi! I live in Italy and bought one of these books. I expected the usual cover coated with plastic, but it was of a normal cardboard (kind of ruined). Can you tell me if your books have this kind of cover or it is just the italian edition? Thank you :)

love these covers but i noticed some covers have that "smooth" feeling and some don't. do you know if it's by title or just randomly? thanks! great vid!
@exlibris-fromthebooks9 жыл бұрын
Penguin changed the material on these due to durability concerns on the 'smooth/rubbery' covers. So if you get an smooth one it's from an older print run. At first I hated the papery covers but now I'm sort of ok with them 😝
