Exmark Lazer Z X Series OCDC Chute Blocker - In Depth Closer Look How It Works

Here is a quick video update on our Exmark OCDC chute blocker. I think it is extremely helpful with keeping grass out of the places you don't want it to go, and helping you with increased productivity. This was the first thing I upgraded when we got our new X-Series, after really enjoying the performance of the first one we had on our S-Series. I absolutely wouldn't live with out it on our mower with the day to day operations and cutting grass.

I like the fact that the chute blockers are universal, you can put them on the turf tracer's LazerZs and the vantages. I Personally have one on my 36 inch vantage. But you have to have a special attachment to be able to fit the chute blocker.

The Exmark OCDC looks to be made of rubber and doesn't create a good seal. Does anyone know if this is a problem? I have the Advanced Chute System, which is metal and seems to fit a lot snugger to the deck. But from the video, it looks like either way, you're going to have a wind row.

You will on almost any chute blocker, and i've seen them all. It's not a mulch kit, and no one should have the expectation that it would perform like one. By the way, no one expects a mulch kit to deliver what an OCDC system does. If that makes sense. 2 different tools, 2 different applications and results.

Hey man. Can you tell me what the end of the cable attaches too. Mine is connected to the metal frame that is secured with two large nuts. I’m not sure what the end of the cable attaches too. Do I just need to buy the OCDC flap and rod? Thanks in advance!

Oh gosh these things are a Pandora’s box. I’d definitely suggest taking it to the dealer for the right parts or having them reattach it
