I got my TMP Kirk today, and the package, the figure itself are all top notch! The likeness of William Shatner is near Hot Toys quality so I am more than happy I pulled the trigger on him.

I ended up getting him from sideshow on a flexpay plan. I think it's an incredible sculpt and it's a Kirk I don't have. I have an original series Kirk but I don't have this one and I like that it's an older Shatner and the price, for a sixth scale figure in today's market, is insanely low. So yes, I'm going down the rabbit hole. I'm on the fence about the Spock and McCoy from this movie but...we'll see what happens.

It's your choice and money, so only you can obviously make the decision to get them or not. But since you got Admiral Kirk, I would say if you have the means to get Spock and McCoy i think the best decision would be to get them, but that's just my opinion. I doubt we'll see these same versions of these figures again in 1/6 scale, they're very limited for a reason. And this version of Kirk is already very expensive and I have a feeling Spock and McCoy will be as well.

Agreed! I wonder if they will do another batch? Also I'm surprised to see side show have a pre order window open but sold out on exo without a edition size being advertised. The 21 day release window is nice but there will be a ton of people out there who miss out. Thanks for watching!

We can't. Our facility is built on Warp Drive. Have to keep the Warp Bubble in optimal condition. I only have 3.5 years left in this venture. Have to move fast. There are still a lot of characters to make. We want a Museum.

I'm going to go all in on most of the exo-6 figures. No, their headsculpts are not as good as hot toys or some of the more established companies. But these guys are brand new, and if we don't support them now they'll go under before they have the chance to improve and get to that level, which they will in time. And if they did go under, don't expect anybody else to pick these up and keep going, support them now or lose them forever.

He looks good, especially the Spock and Bones. But I prefer The Wrath of Khan film, so looking to pre-order them instead. With saying that ... I might pull the trigger, because I do like Kirk's uniform, Spock face sculp/rope and Bones with the beard.

I think either collection of these original cast will be epic for a collection! I try to stick to my favorite versions of characters! Wrath of Khan, search for Spock and Undescovered country are my favorite films with these gents so that's what I'd want most from the OG line! Thanks for tuning in!

I'm not a fan of the TMP Starfleet uniforms, but this one is the exception. Beautiful looking tailoring and I think they've done a 8.5 to 9 capture of Shatner. He's not the easiest to sculpt apparently, much the same as Ford & Mortensen. Spock looks like he'll be coming with the Vulcan IDIC symbol from one photo I've seen. Hope Bones comes with the caduceus symbol

really dissapointed in exo-6 i ordered 3 figs from them, i never got an email about this, i ordered from sideshow but i know i won't get it, i never got sulu from them

Dude did they cancel sulu on you or it just hasn't shipped yet? That sucks!! Sorry to hear about your experience. I got my data from a community member and love it! I hope the experience turns around for you though if you keep buying. I think the low stock on their site doesn't make much sense for this one without announcing an edition size! They never shipped even after they were long out so I cancelled and was able to get one from exo. Sideshow refunded all but the deposit of course

Great film because of the story. The most current remastered version was so needed because of the rushed effects work from its initial release. As for this figure it’s a pass. The outfit reminds me of Space 1999 TV series. I’m hoping they’ll make figures from the Search For Spock. I connected more with the characters in that film. The design of the equipment from the hand phaser, communicator to the tricorders were really well designed. Unlike the Wrath of Khan where the communicators were huge like bricks and the phase look like simple carved shapes. The motion picture just had wrist bands for communicators. As for the sculpt it’s not quite there, it looks like they might have used the same sculptors who work on Big Chief figures. Those folks are horrible at sculpts especially women faces. They messed up Jane Seymour’s likeness from the Live and Let Die figure.

Well written comment sam! Thank you! Totally hear you! Nostalgia for me helps me see past some of those pain points but I would love to see more from the later films especially Search for Spock. Agreed I gave it 8.5 to 9 which is probably a bit generous. The price isn't bad though. Not paying hot toys pricing for example. I'm a next Gen guy though so I'm hoping for even better from that line! Thanks for supporting the channel and watching
