Well anything that she was in real life don't matter anymore since she's no longer with us.

That's true but it still doesn't change the fact that we're getting a Saavik before Uhura and Chekov. Chekov had some pretty pivotal scenes in Wrath of Khan. I think my decision is take a pass on this figure.
