Sehun is probably the least confident of the group when it comes to singing (but his vocals always sound so good). You'll notice that Chanyeol will always be there supporting Sehun and giving him suggestions when he is recording. Chanyeol has always believed in Sehun and through EXO-SC was able to show the world what a lovely voice he has. I thank Chanyeol every day for encouraging Sehun because now we get to hear both of them singing not only through EXO-SC but in the music produced for EXO since EXO-SC's debut.

Hey Marco, I never get tired of listening to the songs on a playlist I listen to on Spotify, so they have never disappointed me. It always amazes me how they do the parts several times to get them the way they want them in the song! Chen, D.O and Baekhyun's power to do those high/long notes in songs is fantastic! The other members hanging out as one record is always nice to see! I definitely get excited when I see recordings of their songs! As the members record, I love how they help each other out! The amount of editing after doing all the recordings is insane! The outfits the members wear in these recordings feel so relaxed! Kai's power on the high/long note in Hear Me Out is amazing! EXO's Suho is just the perfect leader, and I always love watching him in videos!

Kai looks so happy finish his part because his schedule was very tight when recording heart me out. We were supposed to have kai solo concerts in August, he was practicing hard before receiving the notice of enlistmen .And he was sick having a heavy flu when they were recording cream soda Poor joinin 😢

Regarding your question about the recording process from what I've seen from many groups, all members mostly attend the recording sessions together in their early years but for EXO (and other old groups) you can say all members have their own solo projects and they are already familiar with each other's vocals and all so they they don't have to OR can't be all together there in the studio so it's likely scheduled for each member to be there based on his other projects

usually the producers are the one that choose who sing which parts and there's been an interview of one of producers saying how difficult it is to decide who in exo will sing that particular parts because of their crazy vocals. i forgot the vid but there's one.

I think you asked if EXO has ever filmed a music video in a recording studio and it got me thinking. I'm not sure if you've reacted to it yet but EXO-SC (Sehun and Chanyeol's subunit) actually did record one of their MV's for their song Just Us 2 in a recording studio! It's a really fun vibe.

They also have that special music video of Just As Usual from Dont Fight the Feeling album. It shows the guys in recording booth and in dance studio. But for actual recording behind the scenes this is first time we have it from the group, but we do have it for solo work. Suho, Kai, Xiumin and Chen all have them definitely worth watching. You can see how different their approach is in recording!!!

21:10 I'm not sure to explain but if I not wrong..EXO chooses their songs with the English demo version and after they all agree on a song, they divide each member parts on demo version.. after that members can practices their own part before go to recording studio version
