This is the only upbeat song that made me cry knowing this is for us. More like For Life but it was more on them wanting to return their love for us, for sticking with them amid all what was happening. Bird is about going in a journey together. As Suho said he is happy spending his 20s with us, 30s and forever. Gone are days of us worries and uncertainties. We are now one yesterday, today and in the years to come.

So with this song I have like mixed emotions. First, the song is absolutely beautiful. I love hearing their voices and beyond that, the meaning behind the song is gorgeous; they truly love us exols so much. Second, Jongin's voice. His singing voice is so soothing and it's like honey melting in your ears. I'm really damn proud of how far he has come. From being only the visual and main dancer of the group, he has shown his many skills and that he's also able to sing. Last but not least, my baby boy Sehun. I've been part of this fandom for the past 3 years so, right now I can easily distinguish their voices when I first hear a song. So what was my surprise that, as 'Bird' was coming to an end, tears started flowing out of my eyes. In part, it may have been because I've missed EXO as a whole {this is the 1st song w/o our soldiers Kyungsoo & Minseok, who I dearly miss every single day} but also, because i noticed that Sehun didn't had any lines. He sings 9 freaking seconds and it's not him alone, he was in the background sharing it in one of Suho's part. I'm devastated about the treatment that this company has given him. I mean, didn't they heard him in the What A Life album? He's so much more than just a pretty face. I, like many exols, we were hopeful and positive that, in this song, he was going to get more lines than the usual, which sadly, was not the case. Sorry for this long ass essay but, I needed to get it out of my system.

As much as I love this song I hate to see my baby Sehun getting no lines at all. Idk but it has been like a trend from SM I guess not to give Sehun many lines in Japanese songs lately. I remember Cosmic railways ( which you must listen if you haven’t) it’s a beautiful song with no Sehun lines in it. Cosmic Railways actually has Sehun's lines in it. A lot of people didn't realize it bcuz it's kinda blended with others & sounds like Kai. It's a few but still better than this. This one.. is kinda like Promise's case

i think when the part of "fly away uh", its sehun and someone else (with channie and jongin maybe? cos i can't hear baek, suho and chen on that part) its kinda sound like how sehun sound on closer to u, and then when 12:14 I think its suho and sehun as backing, but its kinda sad, he didn't even get any chorus part, even the "nobody just us, nobody, no one else" (its a simple note and line I'm sure he can handle it perfectly) part he didn't get to sing it even once, overall we got one new song which is not much but we thankful on this long draught..

I also have a mix feelings toward this song I also love it I was so excited but finding out that they did not give a line for sehun it makes me feel really sad (I know sehun do a backup vocal but i was expecting more since he already showed his improvement from what a life)
