Glad you enjoyed the song. Tempo is the best song of Exo. The part where they slow down is the most creative part of this song which is why this deserves a 10. That slow part was whole acapella. No musical instruments included. It was intentional.

6:11 respect your opinion, imho the acapella section is the highlight of this tbh..they don’t usually rap this much so this song threw me off. Those vocal harmonies were outstanding. Who else is doing that? That section is showing “were the truth, we actually do this, we actually sing down acapella”. Forget Kpop, who gives vocal production like that in music period? They do it live too, and to have harmonies that tight takes yearssssssss of practice, some groups never get there and only perform basic harmonies. I can probably count on one hand how many groups in music that have harmonies as good as that acapella section. Boyz II Men would be proud there are groups still putting in the work and keeping this style of singing alive, like how they dominated in the 90s

honestly, if you guys look at exo's songs you'll find that a lot of their songs have unexpected changes to the beat and that's what makes them unique. They also emphasize vocals that's why the drop beat and acapella is definitely intentional. unlike other Kpop idols, they don't stick with one style, they try to maximize the things they can do in one song which I find very fascinating. I respect your opinion tho. after all, we all have different taste in music.

Tempo made history bcz of that slow part which is acapella. Many musicians and those who understand music consider it the greatest bridge in whole kpop. Bcz it is so creative there are 3 and four layerings of vocals the way they sing itself builds the tension towards the final chorus. If your hear it again dp notice how they create the tension in acapella part.And harmonies are top notch that blend perfectly. I dint know about acapella before, thanks to exo tempo now.

A friendly recommendation (no judgment intended just an observation) - if you like predictable music arrangements than EXO will not be your cup of tea because one of the special things that sets them apart in the industry, beside heavenly vocals and crazy talents, is that they make music ‘out of the box’ most of the time. The element of surprise is very present in many of their songs and only those who generally listen to their music without any particular expectation get to enjoy it. 🙂. Keep up the good work.
