They mentioned black pearls at one point and that was the one that struck me the most. When a woman is given a black pearl, she basically has the authority in the relationship. Sooooo... So basically in this song, EXO had a girl they loved that they lost at sea during a horrible storm, and now they've spent a long time at sea trying to find her The gentle verses represent the sea when it's calm and the chorus represents slight turbulence during their journey. Kris/Tao's rap represents the strong storm which wrecks EXO'S ship, but they keep on going Except their Black Pearl had died at sea, and they are going to die, too, because of the storm, just like their Black Pearl did (which is why they can faintly see her as they are about to join her in death), but their sad story and hopeful journey lives on in this song But another interpretation past the rap part / final storm is that they finally have found her, since the night has turned to day (symbolizing new beginnings --"the sun suspended in the sky"), and they will be together again :D (These are my thoughts though, what do you guys think how this song ends?)

min yoongi they go 6 to 3 members real quick....its not even dominated by Chinese members anymore so I highly doubt they'll still call it EXO-M! He really does! He can dance amazing, has a great voice, and he can rap occasionally! Now now, Xiumin says the E-X-O for EXO-M/Mandarin versions sometimes as he did in "Overdose" but he doesn't have to be neglected like that. I began to realize after listening to the XOXO album thousands of times, all the "soft" songs neglected Kris (LEADER of EXO-M), Xiumin, Sehun, and occasionally Kai...I guess it's cuz they dont have the "soft voice" mentality but they still deserve lines for their roles! Gosh really truth be told about SM....they still havent realized that losing these Chinese members is losing their fame in China and just in general!
