Luiza O3O the thing is, no one really knows. For publicity purposes, none of EXO members are allowed (I'm pretty sure SM strictly told them not to) to mention the ex members, and it'll be a bit awkward for ex-members to mention EXO members in public. However, privately, none of the fans (at least I don't) knows what's going on behind the scenes. I do believe that Lay keeps in contact with Luhan b/c he even publicly wished Luhan happy birthday. I do hope all of them do keep in touch!

I honestly think this unit had more potential than Exo-K, overall. You have the 3 flawless vocalists Chen, Xiumin and Luhan. 2 actual decent rappers Kris and Tao. Lay the versatile dancer (who can also sing, rap, write, produce and has a clear idea for his music and identity as an artist). You have 6 very strong members, who could have achieved so much if they were given chance to mature artistically. In Exo-K, you have Baekhyun and D.O with their soulful, unique voices. Kai is also an amazing dancer and performer, but he doesn't really have much else going for him. Sehun and Chanyeol both have ok singing voices, but their rapping is mediocre. Suho is a good singer, but not very unique or versatile. So you have the 6 exceptional members of Exo-M, plus the exceptional Baekhyun and D.O. The rest of Exo-K (Kai, Chanyeol, Suho, Sehun) are good, but not quite as outstanding as the other 8. It's a shame SM didn't allow them creative freedom since the beginning. Then the Chinese members might have stayed, and they all could have been stronger as a 12 member group. Just a disclaimer, I don't think anyone in the group is untalented, and I don't dislike anyone. Some just seem to have way more artistic potential than others

I'm pretty sure the song is about technology separating everyone. Like how people all act cold and indifferent behind a screen and no one can see how hurt anyone is. The "mask" that hides everyone's expressions is the technology separating people. The technology is indicated when Tao talks about the world being made up of 0's and 1's and when Kris says that the world has been taken over by "intelligence" a.k.a. Technology. Also when screaming, they're saying how they don't want the world to be cold and how they don't want everyone to be indifferent.
