I've had a set in predator compound on backorder for over a month, hopefully they'll start shipping soon. We need a height comparison with some normal 4.75 tires like crawlers, tusks, vxt2, etc. Would make for a good short.

ive done trail / mud/ hill climb /off-road racing for 30 plus years . depending on the build the best all round set-up that got into and out of woods ive ever had are superatv assassinator 34x8x14 tires on raceline beadlocks . i use tubes with 7 gallons of calcium then 5-6 lbs of air . for the past 6 months ive been tring to get that set up on rc and weeelll ...... i did it and it works awsome . fling king 1.9 tires mounted on g made 70081 2.2 gt air system wheels 3/4 filled with water ! i have a set of the pro x but they need a wider rim or they bulge making them round over . they need 2 inch wide wheel in order to keep the tread flat .

Have you tried the 2.2 versions? Use a 35mm wide wheel and theyre awesome

Great Vid! I love this tread pattern! I have the rc4wd and the 2.2's! I have the 4.8's on order now! out here in the PNW they are the best tire! lots of mud, rocks, water, and snow!

The new Baja Pro X tires look outstanding, and they perform equally well (at least in G8)...so, how about a Baja Pro X vs Hyrax head-to-head, same truck, same wheels, same 3BRC anti-foams (with same rod insert patterns, albeit appropriate diameter anti-foams for each tire)?

You should try these on a trx6. I’m running these on mine with a hobbywing 3300 axe system. What a beast anywhere! Great tires! 👍👍😎✌️

Nice tires. I just bought some Prolines but those tires you have were out of stock in the 1.9 size. That s the tire I wanted the most other then the new Vanquish tires.

sweep racing do a version of these and in 4 different compounds . The supersoft also have the same issue as the rc4wd , lug fold to easy .

Proline foams are decent when brand new. After a few runs they like deteriorate. Antifoams are the same all of the time every time.

It’s funny proline copied a rc4wd tire lol.. but Im n the market for some 2.2’s… so I might try the prolines and see how they compare.. for the terrain I run.. the rc4wd tires out perform the hyrax. But gonna try them against the og hb rovers. The hb’s r definitely a great tire on all the terrain I run on. We run dirt and rocks and roots.. but so far the stock foams on the rc4wd x’s have done great on my lcg truck. But I do like the squid inserts!
