I have learnt so much from you. I am just learning the hobby at age 73.

73? You’re still young enough to fully enjoy it. This can be one of the most challenging and relaxing hobbies you can get into. With the smaller scx24’s you can build them to no end and crawl on the dining room table and have a blast. Thank you for being a part of the channel buddy.

Hey, I'm a recently disabled 63 year old and got into it about a year ago. I've now got 7 '24s, I've built a small crawler course in my small yard, I can use em in the house, they are the most addicting fun that you will have. I'm now getting into the 1/10, I got a gatekeeper, and swap between its body and an ecto body. I had just as much fun modifying them as I do driving em. Keeps the brain sharper, gets you outside, meet new people with the same interests. What more could you ask for from a "toy"

Hey, just out of curiosity I've watched several of your videos and you mentioned living in Tennessee and was wondering where this crawler park is since I live in south west Tennessee and my town doesn't really have any where like this except by natural spots like by the river or our city parks drainage ditch which is a great spot, just like to have new spots to crawl. Thanks in advance.

This truck is badass! You should do stealthx metal gears out of the kit truck, im thinking maybe a Ecto build on an lcg chassis. Brent at brazin-scale-rc could set you up with a really nice colored carbon ATL pro

Awesome!!!! Hey do you have a part number for that quiet esc. ??

I have really been liking my gatekeeper but I think I might throw on the Ecto body to get it to perform even better. I weighed the the cage and panels, it weighed 442 grams. I would run my body without the roll cage. Any idea how much the Ecto body weighs? Was curious how much weight I would save. Awesome video like usual!!!
@ExocagedRC3 жыл бұрын
I haven’t weighed the body alone but it’s gotta be close to the creep. I’d have to look back on other videos showing Superlite to find that weight.
@thomasvanderpool47353 жыл бұрын
Ok, ya that makes sense. I have a gen 8 with a creep body that is my class 2 rig, I will bring the creep body to my shop and weight it on the paint scale there. Or it will give me an excuse to watch the SV1 videos for the 3rd or 4th time haha. Love the content! Only channel I try to watch ever video released. Best part is I wake up to a new video every day!
@Chon-c3 жыл бұрын
@joe ? You have made a purdy good rig out of that 👍 I mean wow.! Dude ? When I saw you get that ? I honestly thought it was a mistake 💁♂️ lol. I don’t think I’ve been this wrong about a rig before. Lol But hey? With all of that front bias … you should try a FULL DRUPE with it & see what that does. You can probably squeezes lil more out of it . I think you could even go to bent links in place of the trac arms. Idk. Cuz I’m just assuming . But I think that would make a really cool full drupe rig (in the back only I mean) That Home’s system is freaking awesome in that truck. That makes it ! And it seems it could even stand going up another tooth or two on the pinion.
@ExocagedRC3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yeah I’m happy with it. I kinda like the rear suspension as is. I may try with out Swaybar just to see how it does. I’ve never had much luck with droop setups on my jagged concrete rocks.

A couple questions, first do the Samix 10.2 Brass C-hubs bolt on easily? (Thinking of getting some myself now) And could you of done crack of doom with the brushed system? The Samix SCX 10.2 Brass C-Hubs is not a perfect fit. The Panhard Bar Mount is different and changes the geometry of the truck. Once installed the car geometry moved far to the left. The other recommended parts fit perfect.
