These Boom kits are superb! Anyone who has bought their wheelsets will not be surprised, though - fit and finish is a feature of all Boom products. Arguably, one of the best scale (leaf sprung) kits out there! And that body.............man, just drooling thinking about it! Any idea what direction you want to go on paiting/detailing the body? This kit ain't cheap but worth every cent! 👍 Great build tutorial Joe, this one deserves a long video! Thanks! 👍

I recommend as a seasoned builder of Boom racing kits that you should go back into that transmission and tighten that spur gear. The indentations in the side of the spur gear allow you to put 2 8mm screws on either side of the spur gear allows you to completely tightened down that center screw

From what I've seen on videos, some of the people that have these like to load them with "camping gear". Probably the reason for heavy leaf springs.

Love my BRX02 D110. I'd put Boom Racing up there with Vanquish as far as quality goes. As far as packaging goes... Nobody beats them. RC4WD packed their kits similarly at one point. Not sure if they still do. Haven't built one in some time.

I’m no expert on kits building..I watch another videos of boulders and they always use lock tide for metal parts so they don’t get lose sr, but it’s an absolutely amazing job you just did there mister keep bring the videos

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but when boom racing 1st started these, everything was factory assembled, UNassembled, boxed, packed and shipped with all new hardware. Originally used Phillips head hardware from where-ever it originated, & replaced with hex he'd hdwe. Yes, this is how our $500+ HH 'kits' SHOULD be like. But🤷‍♂️

Everything from the EXACT shims do the bearings are perfectly flush in the cases, everything IS the most precise of ANY/all 'kits' produced worldwide.

Boom Racing is basically the super heavy duty version of RC4WD when it comes to model grade kits ❤ I use their parts and equipment and they really are above and beyond in quality. You can also buy different width pumpkins and pass through pumpkins for easy 6x6 and 8x8 builds, leaf and coil spring sets, huge gear reduction gears available and way more.

The KZbinr builds this kit from Boom Racing, they say, and I don't disagree, is a high-end kit scale not easy to surpass, is more for trail, the behavior is excellent similar to the real. I will have this kit this year. It is one of my goals: have Boom Racing kit
