You got me wanting to get one of these rc8x radios. Radiolink has another one that looks similar to an XBOX or Playstation remote, with 8 channels too. Only $50 for it, but it uses your phone as the screen for it.

Not good...but GREAT...info to have. To 'compliment' my Noble NB4, I just picked one of these up a couple weeks ago (will soon be selling my Futaba 7PX). Next up will be to get a TBS Crossfire, to plug into the RC8X, and change that 600m max range to "several miles" range.

That was a great video on the Radio link Rc8x, but Im having a hard time trying to update mine all this downloading and files stuff really not my forte, I hate it. I have try to do it 4 times and no luck, my firmware is saying RC8x...V1.1.7.bin I will try again and again until I get it ,question!! have you use the ZTW escs ?

Can you define different positions for a servo? For example: 1.P+98, 2.P+45, 3.P+4, 4P.-25... Sanwa MT4 can hold up to 6 positions.

Have you had any signal lost issues since updating firmware? I have never undated mine yet(its currently on 1.14) due to some ppl complaining that after firmware update, they be having signal issues. Problem with taking ppl at face value, is many ppl do shit wrong or skip steps, f something up then blame product and take no accountability so just want to know how its been since you updated firmware?

I haven't updated anything past this one you see. The only signaloss I've seen is when the transmitter is too close to the receiver

Yes I had. I first noticed it when I updated to 1.1.8 and its been "bricked" with signal drop, freezing and poor range issues ever since. Rolling back to earlier firmware, using new firmware. Its a hardware and board issue that the faulty firmware messed it all up. Ended up with a 250 dollar paperweight radio. Radiolink customer support is some to none. They constantly ignore me and to the point they blocked me from their social groups and profiles when I was trying to help them fix the issues. 1 year later still the same talking to a brick wall kind of stuff. Sold this piece of trash radio and went with flysky. Haven't regretted it and never will.

I followed all the update procedures and instructions from the radiolink video so it is not the update process it HAS to be a HARDWARE or BOARD issue.

@@bombpoprc2023 I ended up never attempting to update firmware. Been using it ever since, no issues. Even paired it up with my Limitless V2 that hit 130mph so was pretty far away and still no disconnects. Its my main Tx, besides maybe 2 Traxxas I left on their stock Rx/Tx. I guess its kinda like updating motherboard bios, most recommend against it IF you are experiencing no issues, so since Im not I will leave it as it as since its been a great Rx for me. Great features for speed runs as well... I also used Flysky a few years ago, still got one for my wife rc and they arent bad, tho mines is one of their very basic models.

Just wait until you run into signal drop hardware issues that cannot be fixed and makes you lose control of your car.....

Guessing you need a computer to do this type of thing? My large android tablet is basically a laptop so I don't own a computer anymore.

If you can get the new firmware on the micro Af card you can do it. Borrow a buddies computer if you need to.

If you've got a USB c to USB c like the Samsung phones come with, you might be able to do it through that

@Exocaged RC just been looking for more tech available for Android. I have GPS and my DX3 using Bluetooth so always intrigued to see what else might be available.
