I love Vitavon. They were probably the first to not just make parts out of aluminum but to also incorporate improvements that the OEM manufacturer never considered in the original designs. This particular piece has the much improved battery mounts and much needed rear brace for the motor. Plus it accomodates the largest of motors...if that's what you're into. Obviously if you want to put that much aluminum on your rig...that's a personal choice. But it's all very innovative

Just waiting for mine to arrive in the UK. I have everything else Vitavon already installed so it's literally just the chassis I need. Only thing left plastic is shock towers and bumpers and under plastics. I love Vitavon and Arthur is just awesome!

Wild, just wild. What a beast you have made. $5k+ shelf queen though? I get with aluminum arms and whatnot it's no longer a jump basher. Maybe make a speed basher out of it? Would love to see what kind of power output/speed you can get with that system on 12s. Either way it's just a work of RC art to be sure. Well done! Glad to see Vitavon is finally making a "real" 1.5 gear cover rather than the one they were selling previously that didn't fit at all. I threw $70 away on the old "1.5 mod gear cover" that wasn't even close to fitting what they claimed it would. Kinda weary of Vitavon after that. High dollar parts with long shipping times + maybe it'll work, maybe it won't = kinda sour on them now.

Easy to polish a driveshaft with a drill, mothers aluminum polish, and a green scotch bright pad. Spin the driveshaft in the drill and polish away. I polished 3 stock UDR driveshafts and they came out like a mirror finish.

Hi, amazing video. I installed some Duratrax Six Packs belted tires on my 8S XMaxx. Everything stock. Should I go to a 17T pinion from a stock 18T to keep temps down? The Duratrax tires are a little bigger and a little bit heavier. Thanks for any help you can provide. Again, great build.👍🏼

As amazing as that is as far as build quality/strength/aesthetics, it is extremely expensive @ $780+ AUD. In Australia the XMAXX is already $1800 AUD so i think it might be priced a little high for the average consumers budget, but then i suppose it probably isn't marketed for the average consumer anyways. Either way it's a awesome setup and a absolute beast.

Beautiful! As an Xmaxx owner I really enjoyed this. Do you know if that gear cover will fit a stock chassis? I am running 30 pinion and 35 spur and have difficulties finding a cover

I want to use metal is for speed, but for bashing I prefer plastic, with metal and the added weight that will help in breaking parts more easy. For me the XMAX is really strong from factory, you are making the XMAX weak instead strong
