Now that you’re welding, a few safety tips. Make sure you have a fire extinguisher close by. Also a spray bottle of water is handy. I’ve been welding for a long time and have lit things on fire from time to time. It can get out-of-control very quickly. Make sure your work area is free of clutter and watch with your hot embers are landing, they can smolder and slowly ignite, and finally make sure you have good ventilation, the fumes are toxic. I'm sure you have done your homework, I’ve been watching your channel since you started it, glad to see that you’re still chugging along. Be safe

Hey EXO, I love your content! Just wanted to give you a quick tip from a layman welder (so take this with a grain of salt). I was taught to push the puddle when MIG welding on the flat (not vertical) and to drag it when stick welding (flat). If you push the puddle when MIG welding I believe you achieve better penetration and your weld should lay down better and not pile up. That vertical down was so good! Great job! You are obviously not done but I’d add some square 1.5” flat bar to the bottom of those butt welds on the sides and weld them on the bottom of the seam at a diagonal (so the square metal makes a V on each side of the seam). That should spread the stress forces out and prevent the butt weld from cracking prematurely from all that BASS. The van is looking awesome! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Very nice! Starting to look rad. Can feel the bass allready here in the netherlands! For those over head welds i recommend a little more wire and amps while keeping volts in tact. To much voltage gives drippy welds and because of the over head, gravity also comes into play! Anyway arround it looks damn gorgeous

You got good penetration in those welds considering you’re going downhill. The heat affected zone is prominent. I’d still recommend going back over them if you can, just to get complete joint penetration. The bass may break them in the future. Great job no less!!!

Hey EXO. Just wanted to say great fabrication work and not so bad on the welds however coming from a guy that's been in the fabrication trade for 35 years I have to say it's not required to clean your metal so much. You would do this if you were TIG welding. MIG welding doesn't require it and it won't make the welds better or stronger or nicer looking. With the structure that you're building you only need a 1/8 weld profile. Keeps the distortion down and it looks better. Just saying. You will save a lot of time and money and grinding and polishing. Keep up the good work can't wait to see those 18-in holes plugged
