Honestly the funniest part about this deck is that in the OCG if you try and Maxx C challenge your opponent they might just draw exodia which is really funny

Funny thing, in Master Duel yesterday I draw almost 30 cards. If i had Exodia for sure I would've drawn 5 pieces

imo the only problem of the monsters is that their effect has to go off to search so if you ash them they just stay stuck in your spell and trap zone you cant simply normal or special summon them normaly.

Well to be fair, ash/ogre are like the only hand traps that actually affects this deck. They search as part of their summon, so they are immune to veiler/imperm. You can play under droll if your first search is for cross, as the fusion will set disruption from deck in end phase. You don’t use the GY for really anything, so shifter also doesn’t matter. This deck only summons 3-4 times so you never have to worry about Nib. The only time you really care about ash is if you don’t have cross, and they specifically ash shield.

You want to play like 45 cards if you want to avoid bricking on stuff too often in this. Though if your "filler" is full of draw power instead of hand traps/extenders then sticking to 40 to see if you can pull out a surprise FTK could be an option.

Another tuner package option would be Righty and Lefty driver. Or any package that can make a level 4 synchro with a lvl 1 or lvl 2 tuner. Gives you access to Omega and Hop Ear Squadron with Cupid Pitch. Reduce it's lvl by 1 and synch it and Shield into Omega (or if you reduce it by 2 with another tuner package, you can use Cupid and Golem instead). Cupid burns for 800 and searches Hop Ear. Omega rips 1 card and during the opponent's turn you have either a lvl 8 or 10 synchro option with Hop Ear and either Golem or Caveman. Baronne for the lvl 10 synchro slot is a no brainer. For the lvl 8 ones you can use something like Draco Berserker Enigmaster Packbit, Askaan, Zoroa, Cyber Slash Harpie etc. Post LEDE you can even use Gold Pride - Annihilator for a 1 ED monster pop (most likely 2 pops since your LP will be lower). You can even access lvl 9 synchros like Shenshen by synching into Accel Stardust Synchro Dragon and reviving the Righty Driver and then using that and the Stardust you summon with ASS Dragon. A unaffected Shenshen sounds pretty scary against the all the fire match ups maybe with the exception of R-ACE.

The only issue I can think of with this archetype is this deck is completely obliterated by Droll since not only can you not search, but you also commonly now cant even summon the other monsters in your hand.

Technically I think you can, since the searching the Millennium monsters all do is optional, but yeah Droll still runs a train on the strategy if you don't already have Cross in hand.

I think lord of the heavenly prison has a pretty natural place in this deck. It can help extend into OTKs, protect back row set off the fusion, and set cross to be used next turn if needed.

I tried this deck with the boss field spell to get an omni negate and the chaos scepter blast for an additional non target banish. the moonmaiden is important because it protects from sp little and triple tactic and other targeting stuff

OK...but hear me out..Poseidra The Atlantean Dragon. Get all the Exodia pieces to your Spell/Trap zones then bounce them back with Poseidra. GG

You cannot activate any other cards or effects after placing the pieces. Also the quickplay doesnt place them, it gives Exodia an ignition effect like Fenrir search to do it so you can't cheese CL1 Poseidra CL2 Quickplay.

Always was a fan of the exodia and loved that they got some support with the newer monster and obliterate in the past newer cards are also cool like a bit "uniquer" mechanic like the set them in spell trap zone like crystal beast or artefact =) Just don´t get it why they also mention Sengenjin, is there another named retrain of it (not The Caveman that Awoke after a Millennium because do not mention Sengenjin) or is it just lorewise because Sengenjin collects the millenium Items? maybe contract with exodia and necro exodia is a possibility ?? just remember really early yugioh where u was alowed to play multiple pieses of the forbidden and u just combinie it with painfull choice and backup soilder :D

@@kookou13 you might be right but cards like Evenly or Dark Ruler don't push your engine going forward in a deck like Monarchs. Dark Ruler could potentially work well with it tho. I'm not saying max on 3 going second but I think it's a decent going second option. It's a 1 card double tribute going second assuming uninterrupted. Honestly for me it's just another excuse for lithium to make another Monarch video which I always enjoy.

@stallschula5431 of course they don't push your engine forward. They are going 2nd cards aka board breakers. The idea is okay for the card but redundant as they need it to be able to be searched or quick play like storm to interrupt opponent. It's a garnet if you go first for sure.

Im trying Ken/Gen to make Thrust into Cross so i won't lose all my LP using those monsters, also 3 Diabel with the trap for added protection since you can also play Dramatic Chase to spellzone her and play around shuffling all monsters back. They make a very powerful chaos angel going second. Since you play AFD, a Village of Spellcasters or Mount of the Bound seems obligatory to give Exodia the much-needed protection going first.

you can't use the end phase effect of dramatic chase when you activated millennium cross that turn. millennium cross locks you out of summons for the rest of the turn (except normal set)

@@MJ-kb1sy you can cheat her out on the opponent's turn. Dramatic Chase is a Snake Eye card so Diabell cant search it anyway to be consistent (it's 3 diabel 3 wanted 1 dramatic). You would need the Snake-Eye synchro engine. TLDR; AFD to pop Stone Slab for Divine Temple. BTW after some testing i preferred Ken/Gen and S/T interruptions instead of the combo snake-eye version, but snake eyes can get you up to 4 draws while removing themselves from the deck if you want to just turbo out towards the wincon.

Honestly I'm pretty annoyed they didn't support the Legendary Exodia Incarnate at all. Legit just needs monsters that count as Exodia pieces only when in the graveyard, and have special summon effects and can search Incarnate. He's a way, way cooler boss monster than the fusion.

I agree. It seems pretty ridiculous that they went so far out of their way to not synergize with it at all. Its so strange that despite incarnate and Obliterate releasing in the same set release, they choose to completely ignore one, while directly supporting the other.

If you could just dump too many forbidden ones in the graveyard it would be really hard to deal with beside from kaijuing it or like super Polly​. I mean, that isn't exactly true. Exodo flame: You can use the main effect to help stall, and the graveyard effect help speed up incarnate's ability, so you end up with all five parts in hand faster. Obliterate!!!: Again the main effect helps stall, as well as fish parts out of your deck to power up incarnate, and give it a target pull back to your hand.
