David, today 6/23/22 I was listening to a local radio station in Florida, Dr. Tony Evans interpretation of this very chapter. I had never heard it like this before but I know that God wanted me to listen carefully. You see, I need to take a special exam to teach severe learning disabilities, of which i have minimal knowledge. I have asked a colleague for some resources that she has and was willing to share, but on three attempts to get them in my email, they just never show up. I asked God what was up with this, I have been asking for help from this colleague, and Him (God), but feel like my requests fall on deaf ears. I feel like this is my last chance in life to get my dream job ( I’m 64). I have a Master’s in Education but not teaching, and not in SPECIAL Education. I did however get a chance this year to teach kids in small groups who are struggling to meet academic goals. So the school liked my performance and decided to see if the school district will hire me for this new position teaching severe learning disabilities. I’m still waiting for their approval by the way, and I thought I heard God say He was fighting for me but to sit still and wait. I know this is a lot, but I feel the need to tell you all of this. I feel that if I have this state required test under my belt (ESE Certification) that I will have a better chance, and also I am showing incentive, that I will get the job. My principal has hinted that I will have to eventually get the certification ( I’m so scared of failing this test). After hearing Tony Evans and you talk about how the Israelites needed to cry out to God, for they had no other means to get out of the situation they were in, I feel God is telling me to do the same. He wants all the Glory, He will make the way for me, and All I Need to do is Trust Him. He Has the power to make my situation better, not any human on this earth. Just letting you know that your interpretation was right on point, very humorous, and soooooooo helpful; verified what I thought I was hearing.Thanks for all that you do for the Kingdom.

I am in a situation and am stuck between 'faith without deed is dead' and 'stand still'. Its either have faith but do something about it or stand still and let God fight for you. This video is a confirmation for me. stand still, do not be afraid and trust in the Lord.

I love his excitement to share his knowledge and understanding of God’s Word. If you see his recent videos about 20 years later, his tone is much lower. But I much prefer these older videos with his passion and excitement of explaining and teaching God’s Word.

I would imagine having this much knowledge and understanding of the Word makes one excited to share it. His tone has mellowed over the years and while I still enjoy and benefit from watching his videos, I much prefer these older videos with his excitement.
