@Black Bird Galatians 2:16 a person isn't made righteous by The Works of the law but rather through the faithfulness of Christ ... because no one will be made righteous by The Works of the law. Verse 21 if we become righteous through the law... Then Christ died for no purpose! Galatians 3:2 did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law? Or by believing what you heard? Verse 3 are you so irrational? After you started with the spirit, are you now finishing up with your own human effort??? Galatians 3:10 all those who rely on the works of the law are under a curse - because it is written Everyone is cursed who does not keep doing ALL the things that have been written in the law scroll..... Galatians 3:11 but since no one is made righteous by the law as far as God is concerned... It is clear that the righteous one will live on the basis of faith Romans 6:15 so, what... Should we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Galatians 9:30 Israel was striving for a law of righteousness, but didn't arrive... Why??? ... because they did not go for it by faith, but they went for it as if it could be reached by doing something..... They tripped over a stumbling block!

If you think you are called to teach the Word, as having the gift of teaching, it would be good to be expose to mature, gifted and responsible teachers of the Word, and most likely that would be through seminary or Bible school. Just be careful to not get into a burden of debt and more importantly following the wrong doctrinal DNA, Bible always first. Remember this, you are not, and you will not be the only one with this gift, God has chose many teachers, pick with prayer and be wise.

Just visit a college and have them counsel you, to give you a list of places you can get scholarships, ask of you can work at the school while going to school, this is call "work study program" maybe have a part time doing something else, don't rush it, may be a 4 year degree may take you 5 or 6 but with no debt. Also, as far as your gifts try to read on your spiritual gifts.

Thanks. Little correction/precision in Ex 40:22-24 The table is said to be placed at the northern (septentrional) side of the tabernacle, and candelar south of it (meridional / desert / Neguev). The door is at the East, as it is also in the temple. Checked in Chouraqui's and Segond 21's.

There seem to be a few inconsistencies regarding the speaker's view of God's Law. The speaker reads Deuteronomy 29:29, "...that we may do all the words of this law" but later comments that the tablets in the ark represent "Christ's finished work." He provides no Biblical evidence to support the assertion that God's Law has been "finished." Perhaps I'm misunderstanding... The speaker also gives the analogy of looking good on the outside but not having Christ's finished work within you. What does this even mean? I'd like to present an alternative: the tablets represent God's Law 'on the inside' or on our heart. Consider Jeremiah 31:31: "...I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people." Also consider Deut. 5:29: "If only they had such a heart to fear Me and keep all My commands always, so that they and their children will prosper forever." The law wasn't designed as a tool of salvation (Ephesians 2:8), rather it defines love for God and our neighbour (Matthew 22:40). If we are truly driven by love, we will obey God's commandments (John 14:15), and "whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (consider Matthew 5:17-19).

What is sin? 1 John 3:4 “whosoever commit sin transgresseth the law (10 commandments) for sin is the transgression of the law(10 commandments) 1 John 5:3 “for this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous” If I don’t keep his commandments then I must not love God, and if I don’t love God, then I’ll not go to heaven, for I’ll not love God NOR keep his commandments (these are the 2 reasons Lucifer was cast out of heaven in the first place, which caused Jesus to come here and die for our sins) so where does that leave me if I believe the law was fulfilled at the cross and I don’t have to keep the law anymore?

I would just mention one thing, that I heard in a sermon by David Pawson, that in Greek the word logos is used at the beginning of John, and means, more accurately, ‘the reason why’ rather than ‘the word’. I need someone to help me understand: This man says that John the Baptist would have been thinking of anything else but how to make his telling of Jesus' story "match" with the instructions for the Tabernacle...why?
