Ah great stuff, one thing i found extremely funny is during the morning time i can get charge 3 pound for a transfer. but at 4-5 it can be up to 10 -13 poune, since changing these settings its never gone above 3 pound yet and never taken longer then 5 seconds for it to go through !!!

Hello there! That's not a fee we charge, it is the BTC network fee that's really high right now. Setting low fees can mean increase transaction confirmation times. You can definitely pay less fees if you are okay with it. -SS

Another suggestion: Coinbase Wallet supports all ERC20 tokens automatically. Maybe Exodus can do it too, so that fringe coins are automatically supported and I do not need to hunt for another wallet for newly launched coins.

The fees are deducted when the sender initiates the transaction. They will be aware of the transaction fees in advance, so they have to send a little extra if you want an exact amount.

Hi, I clicked on Advanced options, but do not have there "Enable custom fee" option. Instead I have "Multiple addresses", "Legacy Address" and "Taproot address"". I have Exodus 22.12.19 installed on my computer. What can I do now with Transaction fee? How to set it up?

Good point! You will see a gear icon in the top left of your screen when you click the "send" button in your Bitcoin wallet. That will open the flow where you enable custom transaction fees. Same with Ethereum if you use that. Glad you asked this. -SL

@@exodus Security is at the top of the list, obviously. As the crypto market explodes, ppl will be jittery about trusting software wallets that are only secured by a password or biometrics. Imagine being mugged and your biometric being used to force a transfer to another wallet. Something like this happened to an acquaintance a month ago, albeit it was using mobile banking. Something like this could easily happen to crypto wallets. The police would obviously be helpless in tracing the crime and reversing the transaction. This is exactly why I don't carry normal crypto wallets on my phone. Multi-sig will greatly assuage the fear. The most elegant and mature multi-sig solution I've come across is BitPay's wallet. It works like a charm. I'm sure Exodus adding this feature will make it all the more enticing.

Hey there, this is how the fee market works. If you pay less to the miners, then they will always choose the higher fees first. If you choose too low, then the miners my ignore it altogether if the network has a massive backup of transactions. Exodus, has no control over this, we set the fee to try and make sure your transaction is included in the next block. You have the option to lower the fee if you can wait for awhile. Aside from some privacy coins (which can have very high fees) The only popular coins which have high transaction fees are Bitcoin and Ethereum. Adjusting fees on other coins is not really needed - yet.

I dont know where my comment has gone, but i will give the question again: Is there a way to set the fees BELOW 10 sat/vb? Everytime I manually enter 1 sat/vb it jumps back to 10 sats /vb. I'm sure this originates from times where 10 sats seemed incredibly low fee, but today you get instant transactions with 1 sat/vb. So I hope for an update...

If you initiated the transaction via Exodus, you probably have the option to accelerate it, though this involves increasing the fee, which is already high. Wow. So when a transaction gets stuck for two or three days, you get a form letter, and actual customer support also takes two or three days.. or longer. But... leave a negative comment on KZbin, and response is immediate. Maybe set actual customer service as a higher priority than damage control. You guys have a quick response to any criticism, but when I get back to my small investments, which are stored in your wallet, it still costs me %15 of my money to do anything. You can pass the buck, or frame it however you want, but that changes nothing for me.

Hey there, that's a great question. The network fees are set so your sending asset will confirm as quick as possible so your exchange does not get stuck and completes quickly. This is separate from the minimum exchange amount. The minimum amount is determined by the exchange partner and will fluctuate with market conditions. For example if the asset has poor liquidity the minimum amount will be higher. What would you like to see? -Kris

The only reason I have any mony in this wallet at all, is because it costs way too much to get it out. There’s literally no way to do it without losing about 15%. I have around $700. If you are working with small amounts of money, This wallet will eat it all up.
