I just exchanged $25 worth of Bitcoin for $21.50 of Monero and you guys took a $280+ (0.0101 BTC) "minors fee". Sending bitcoin was never harder with Exodus, to send just $50 will cost you $129 in fees (88 sat/bytes). I emailed the support staff and have not received a response in two days, at this point I'm convinced Exodus is scamming.

ZEC is basically safe BTC for private transactions. And unlike Monero, it has a maximum supply like BTC. So it’s absolutely deflationary and completely decentralized just like BTC, since it’s a direct hard fork of BTC. It has a really bright future.

Wait Monero doesn’t have a max supply? Well that just made my decision easier. I was on the fence as they both were equally unique but that fact that monero doesn’t have the one thing that literally gives even bitcoin it’s value appeal jusy made this decision soooo much easier. Zcash all the way. What’s the point of privacy if currency debasement is always an inherent risk

@@jct3439 if you take lost coins into account, it's actually deflationary. the tail emission will stay fixed at 0.6xmr per block which is around 0.9% per year, while lost coins is 1.5% lost every year

nice video. Great introduction into zcash. Yet it misses to say, that exodus by now only supports t addresses and thus only transparent transactions.(afaik). When z-addresses (if possible?) and when PIVX? Another privacy coin ;)

They are charging 2.6 usd of fee to send more than 20 usd in btc, is not supposed that the more money you send the fee is less? In other wallets such as coinbase or xapo they do not charge as much fee, that should change exodus.
