Never gave exodus a chance since I couldn’t never get into BOB with horrible production and bad baloff vocals. Now in my 30s, I’d rank exodus only behind Metallica. Holt and Hunolt were amazing. 97 Live album with Baloff might be best live metal album of all time. Not a massive fan or their 2004-onward work but you can’t beat their riffs

So glad that classic thrash bands, such as Exodus, have stood the test of time and are still killing it in 2022. Not only that, but being even more killer now, than even compared to the heyday of the thrash scene/sound in the 1980s-early 1990s. Even more importantly, I love Steve Souza's singing style...his raspy vocals are just plain legendary, and are so menacing. "The Big Four" are always mentioned (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax), and while I love all 4 of them, I've always felt that Exodus should be in that group as well. How could they not be?? 🤷

Exodus been my 100% favorite metal band ever since I was an 80s dude... So glad so see them get their full respect on a current world. So many thrashers have said that the Bonded By Blood album is the quintessential thrash album that so many people sleep on. I was a bit hesitant on their new stuff because of the changes to lineup and how "double bass" it became... But honestly, there's plenty of the core remaining (guitar, VOKILLS, even though Souza is the second singer he is the one most people remember)... But when I sit back and think about how long this band has endured when the "big 4" gets all the thrash glory... I'm tons less hesitant about the newest albums! I'm all in, still!
