I could sit at deer camp and listen to Dave's hunting stories all day. Wouldn't even get my bow out of the case.

Wow! Congrats to you!! I’ve bow and gun hunted since the 80’s and the absolute biggest buck I’ve ever seen was in Ohio. Shot my best yet in Ohio. Looking forward to getting back there. My area of NY would never let any buck live past 2 or 3!! Great job.

A good buddy of mine actually had trail cam pictures, sheds, and kept tabs on that buck for a few years before it was killed. All happened a few miles from where I grew up.

Lol he didn't mention the sheds he got from my buddy. He traded him a replica set of antlers for the sheds, and trail cam photos. The one photo in the video was taken on my buddy's trail camera.

Just curious who your buddy is that had trail cam picture?? seen 1 of my pics in this video an I only showed it to 1 person so curious how he got the picture. Actually to be precise my trail camera picture was at 10:39 mins in the video.. crazy watching the video to come across my picture from 2015?

@@annbrodzinski5707 Jim B. Not going to type his whole last name without permission of course. And the pic I think is his or at least he sent it to me in the past is at 7:13 He had a bunch of pics of him on a licking branch over a mock scrape as well.

@@Jonnydeerhunter ok didn't know if it was the one I was talking about because that's my picture forsure there is no mistaking that. I think I should get ahold of someone about this because I take pride in that picture just for someone else to be taking credit for it..

Can someone tell me how much he sold the deer for? I’m very curious? I would think a deer that big would be a world record?
@drumandball2 жыл бұрын
I want to know what these world class bucks go for. Keith Snyder has got to have a few million dollars worth of mounts in that room, i'd imagine.

You hear this from everyone who shoots big non-typicals, that the guys involved in Boone & Crockett just him and haw around about score and argue with each other. Buckmasters is definitely gaining a following due to the politics involved in the other scoring systems.

The other systems with deductions is kinda dumb anyway, if it grew it it should count no deductions. Btr is the way to go anyway

How can anyone be proud of a guided hunt?

Some states require you to have a guide to hunt if you’re a non resident, Alaska for one example

The same way you can be proud of your house or maybe a classic car you bought. You didnt build them but you can be proud of the work you did to afford them. Im a salmon guide on Lake Michigan and take many people who havent been fishing before. Im proud of them for driving hours, getting up at 3am and trying something new to them. Just like they should be proud of the fish they catch with me.

Awesome buck !! I'm only about 45 minutes from alliance. Some bruisers for sure. I will never understand why any hunter would sell the original, unless you absolutely were desperate for money. A replica is not the same deer !!

BUMMER when someone else gets ahold of your trail camera photo(10:39 IN THIS VIDEO) claiming it as there own... It's a prized picture I own the rights to that is used in this video without CREDIT or giving it to OR consenting to any individuals mentioned. I have the original exact image and others in the EXACT same spot in this picture TO PROOVE it. Honestly, instead of writing a comment I should have KZbin take this down..😒

Two things that really drive me nuts here. First thing, why on earth would you sell your original rack? I couldn't imagine doing that. Second, why would you even want 2 other replicas on your wall? Why have deer in your trophy room that aren't even yours? It's nonsense.
@Jrh-rp7np2 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing but I thought maybe I was crazy.., first of all I rarely take any fish I catch ..or deer or anything else I harvest to get mounted …Just cause they have to be extra special to do that..-and Im out there for fishing for fun I don’t even like to take fish I catch ..I try Catch and release always unless they are badly hooked and won’t live …and hunting I’m out there to enjoy myself and to fill my freezer ..I got a couple nice Euro mounts and one good buck mount but I would never ever put someone else’s deer on my wall or sell a trophy like that… I just can’t fathom it…That’s a deer of a lifetime…
