Did a caribou hunt in 2001 in Quebec when 9/11 happened and we were so far removed we had no idea it even occurred. Your video brought me back to the solace that still exists. Alaska is a must for me in the next few years. Thank you exo team for the content, the products, the education, and for inspiring us to keep living our dreams. Long time listener, k3/k4 pack owner!

Another epic adventure video guys! Having such a great group of positive attitude partners, communicating, testing the loaded rafts, ect makes for a trip that keeps everyone level headed, confident and as safe as an adventure like that can be. Stuff happens, but I admire how you presented the challenges in a way that sounded like everyone was on board and had a voice. Awesome video, thx for sharing and man-O-man, looked like a blast!

I’ve talked with him and I’ll be a guest on his podcast to tell truth about how the 6 Creed performed for us this year. And also argue the case for why small calibers might be the best choice for all around big game performance. He apologized to me for rushing to quick to publish his last podcast without fully understanding the facts. All is well and I’m excited to share our experiences to his audience and provide a different perspective. - Steve

That’s awesome glad to hear that. I think finding common ground and uniting as hunters is key in today’s landscape, and the future.
@lukeu6672Күн бұрын
I would also add; imo influencers should encourage hunters to try the “cold bore challenge” to determine their ethical ranges with their rifles at game. That might alleviate some nuance with wind drift, recoil, and ethics around long range shooting. There are many examples of the concept on Rokslide. (I know long range shooting is a side discussion but still related, again just another way to find common ground).
@ExoMtnGearКүн бұрын
@@lukeu6672 I completely agree. A cold bore challenge to people who think they can shoot an animal in mountain terrain at long distances and hit with a very high probability on the first shot would really open peoples eyes. We are actually in talks with NRL Hunter of doing or own Exo Mtn Gear version of a competition to prove this very point and help some people understand their true capabilities. - Steve

Epic adventure. I have an Alpacka Raft (Mule version) and have been looking for a hunting pack that will fit internally but most frames are too big. Looks like your packs fit no problem.
@ExoMtnGear2 күн бұрын
Yeah with the pack having some gear in it, it didn’t exactly slide right in but they definitely fit in there no problem. Let us know if you have any other questions. - Steve

Awesome experience, love seeing the video content on top of the podcasts. I probably missed it in the podcasts, but what was the reason why you all chose to float downriver? Did you end up at a different airstrip or was that the one you landed at initially?
@ExoMtnGearКүн бұрын
Great question and one we didn’t cover at all. The airstrip we landed at was too short to get us and the Caribou out so we could only land on it. We needed to float downstream to a bigger one to take off with all the meat and antlers. - Steve
