It’s so crazy to me that exorcisms aren’t something that are taught or discussed in Seminary today. Why? The devil didn’t go anywhere and he hasn’t changed his tactics to steal, kill and destroy so I find it a little disturbing that the church doesn’t talk about it more frequently. This world today has PROVED the very real existence of the enemy. Thank you for this interview, this was great!

I love to listen to Father Lambert speak about anything; he embodies everything one expects from a Catholic Priest in every sense of the meaning. Not only is he a good public speaker, but I can see that he is humble and kind, smart and humorous. I am a woman who has been fascinated by demons since childhood since my pastor told me that they were not to be feared as long as I had my armor of the Lord on, keep my space clean and spend time there with him alone every day, stay humble, truly believe in the resurrection, ALL of that, read the word etc; and what a wonderful honor hallelujah! Just to do that every day! But I think that I would enjoy the work of an exorcist. I have watched Father Lambert talk about discussing what it takes to be a good Exorcist and I believe that I have those qualities as a 64 year old; I would still have been too fearful years ago because I ran and became worldly. I am no longer that person though. I just have felt some sort of calling because the big jerk revealed himself to me as a child through my sister one day at church. Big dummy thought that just because I was a little girl that I couldn't see what he was doing. Now I have a 68 yo big sister who is reading tarot cards for a living. Hmm, just like I saw as a kid. So, I know the main dude's name is, his job, and when he was invited in. So I pray the blood of Christ for her to come back to the Lord like I did, remind her of the evil of tarot cards and how this certain demon has been "pooping" on her since around 1966 when I saw her eyes light up every time she saw a deck. She's been lied to and to remind her of our loving Father in heaven. Remind her how great it felt every Sunday, all day long; starting with prayer and breakfast together before church before Sunday supper together etc. Family and God, God and family as our parents raised us. Anyway, I'm just rambling. I can't talk about this everywhere, I'd sound like a nut. I've been paralyzed for 22 years so my church comes to me God bless them.

Will demons only start talking in languages when confronted by an exorcist? In other words can people have a demonic in them without someone knowing.

many people walk with demons in them and some don’t know, that’s why you can not put your hands on anyone and pray over them

​@norah3220 Father Lampert advises that in this situation, you should keep praying for the person because they have to want to be helped, especially where exorcism is concerned. I wouldn't tell them they might under demonic influence, I'd pray for God to bring them to that realisation, and also pray that the demons reveal themselves to the person or to someone very close to them.
