Yes, the Holy Spirit will dwell within your soul if it is pure and open to receiving Him. Cleanse your soul through the Sacrament of Confession, a powerful means of spiritual renewal and deliverance-a mini exorcism. A Roman Catholic priest, such as Father Dan Reehil, has access to the profound teachings of the Church, including the doctrines and writings of the Doctors of the Church and mystics such as St. Thomas Aquinas, the children of Fatima, and St. Padre Pio. To truly understand the Bible, one must deeply engage with the Roman Catholic Faith and participate in the Traditional Latin Mass, which preserves the richness of our sacred traditions. When Christ established His Church on St. Peter, the first Pope, those who later broke away lost access to many treasures of the Roman Catholic Faith, including the profound insights of the saints and mystics. To grow in understanding, I encourage you to delve into the videos of Fr. Vincent Lampert, Fr. Carlos Martins, and Fr. Chad Ripperger. Their works shed light on the realities of spiritual warfare, the power of relics, and the Rite of Exorcism. Without this foundation, it is difficult to fully grasp the spiritual depth and authority of these sacred tools and practices to exorcise the possessed of any of the following: Demonic possession: A demon takes control of a person's body without their consent. This is considered rare. Demonic infestation: Evil is present in a location, such as a haunted house, or in an object, such as a voodoo doll or ouija board. Demonic vexation: Physical attacks on a person's body, such as cuts, bite marks, or bruises. Demonic obsession: Demonic attacks on someone's mind, such as obsessive thoughts or suicidal ideation. Oppression: Satan or demons torment a person through a series of misfortunes, such as in the biblical Book of Job. Subjection: A person voluntarily submits to Satan or demons.

@@SilkySilv I don’t think you’re getting what I’m saying. Jesus didn’t bring salt and “holy water” and other items to cast out demons. As God in flesh Jesus used His authority as the son of God, King of Kings to cast them out. They couldn’t even stand to be in His presence. Jesus said in John that He was leaving us with that same spirit. The Spirit of Jesus. The same spirit that raised him from the dead. Nothing has ever defeated death but Jesus, that’s how powerful His authority is and if you truly are a follower of Christ, that spirit lives inside you. That’s why I say you don’t needs salts, holy water etc. because that same spirit lives in all those who truly believe in Him. Therefore, we don’t need those things either because we have His authority to tell them to get out and be quiet. They have to bow down, flee, etc in the name of Jesus.

It's interesting what he is saying about having a piece of the cross. It's my understanding that Buddhist Rinpoche's will have little bits of bones, jewels, etc. in objects. They can be as tiny as a fine dust. I have no reason to doubt him, and while others are, I'm open to the idea that those who train to become an exorcist are given tiny particles placed inside their rosary for added protection. It's also interesting that he's saying objects can hold energy. There are parallels here with other beliefs.
@hikeypooАй бұрын
That's not what he's saying at all. When you carry a relic, you carry all that the saint is- their holiness and their authority given by Christ. You seem to be mixing that up with the idolatry of false gods- "energy", etc.. It is not the same. Relics of holy things- the Cross, the saints, etc. have the authority given them by God. The little bones and things you mentioned that are not of Christ bring evil. Avoid that stuff. Don't keep them in your home or carry them around and do not give them away! They should be destroyed and discarded. Be real careful - they can infest your home demonically.
@maryj7423Ай бұрын
The point you raised is interesting. I think it is innate in humans to look for higher things and for vehicles to those higher things that can bring good to us. In this longing we have, we can see the trace of God in us. We're meant to reach out for him. In many religions, even in folklore and stories, this element is present. An object with power. Imagine that God is Light, Beauty, Power, Wisdom and Perfection itself. Not the kind you feel would be unreal. The kind you feel and love when you look at the sea, or a person you're in love with. That feeling is also a trace of God. So imagine He is like that and much more, and any other creature or thing He makes has this pulsating life and beauty. The moment a creature decides to go away from God, cease a relationship with Him and despise Him, they fall off like a leaf and lose Life. This is what the devil did, this is what sin does. This is what the Catholic Church reminds us. So in the Catholic Church we have objects and physical signs of God's grace, vessels of it. They are simple things like water, bread, wine, oil, a little crucifix, that a priest prayed on, and God blessed them for a specific purpose. These objects, together with other acts of faith, bring life back to us, and keep us living. There's a scale of priority: first, the Sacraments (the Baptism, the Confirmation, the Holy Mass, the Confession) then the sacramentals, which are holy water, blessed oil and salt, and Saints relics. What's that? A piece of a bone, or cloth that touched the saint. Or pieces of objects found in the Holy Land and kept by Christians for centuries. If you have faith, these objects help bring grace and life. There are many stories of how the saints healed people while they were living, so people held on to such saints even after they died, with prodigious effects, just like it happened when praying to those saints (you can't be proclaimed a saint unless you perform scientifically unexplainable miracles after you have died, so to testify you are in Heaven, at the very source of Life: God.) Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life. He gave up His Body so that He, the Life, could absorb all our death and destroy it with His will to love us, love us back to life. Exactly like a parent would give up an organ or his/her life for a child. But Jesus did it for every single human being ever. His actions trascend time and space so that any person who calls on Him, trusting in His Love, will be saved. He wants to be life for everyone everywhere. He gave up all out of pure love with nothing in return, He died in the most horrible way, to have His kids back, to give them a family, a house, an inheritance, a dignity, after they lost it, to give meaning to their every moment of life, even the most terrible ones. In the Gospel, a thief was being executed: he turned to his left only to find Jesus being executed with him, saying that he was forgiven and that we would go in Heaven with Him. God did all that through a Body. Saints died giving up their lives for others in different ways, that's why their bodies are fully Jesus's body, the life-giving one. But the most powerful thing is the person that is one with God. An object won't chase away a bad spirit. A man who lives in grace and is sent by God, with these holy objects, will. Thank you for your observation.

Now, I have nothing against the every day catholic. I believe many of them are true believers. The church itself though...total load of crock. It's not Christlike to just move the pedo priests to a new parish and never deal with them or turn them over to the authorities. Matthew 18:16 is a good verse to back that. Furthermore, 1 Timothy 4 ,specifically verse 3, speaks about the end times and how some will forbid marrying. Sounds a lot like the catholic church forbidding marriage for priests and nuns. And the evil spirit answered and said to them, “I recognize Jesus, and I know about Paul, but who are you?” And the man, in whom was the evil spirit, leaped on them and subdued all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.” Acts 19:14-16 These men didn’t know their authority in Christ. It was a priest, a teacher at my HS, that explained to us there were so many "real" pieces of the cross in Churches and other places out there. Many of them are very old, but still not likely to be genuine. It was an easy way to make a Church or individual feel honored, just grab a piece of wood and tell them the lie. They're still interesting historical pieces imo. The Church I went to as a kid had a piece of it that was in a cool case. It was basically the size of a dollar. Only thing I can say for sure is it did appear to be wood lol

There’s a few scoffers in the comment section. The cross was large and any fragments given out would likely be tiny. It’s possible he doesn’t have a piece of the true cross, but it’s also possible that he does - as if we could know whether his piece is true or not. You don’t know where he got it from for a start. As for the rosary, the power has been given to her who St Luke says was “blessed amongst women”, and that power is accessed in a very unique way through the Holy Rosary. Right now it's just a relic. An item with the blood of the Lamb on it " maybe" and if it does. Is it imbued with power? I don't think so. Calling on the Lord has more power than a physical object that God didn't tell anyone it holds any power at all. Why have a relic if the belief is in not seeing, touching, holding anything but just in the heart and mind.
