When Father Reehil brought up Oujia boards, I immediately thought of my experience with the second time I ever played with one. The Oujia board belonged to a friend of mine and the first time we tried using it together, nothing happened. I was 14 years old and had just lost my mom due to cancer and I wanted to try and communicate with her on the other side. I brought the board home, I was alone, and I sat on my bed with the board on my legs. I asked the first question, nothing happened. I asked another question and my bed began to violently shake with me atop it. Just then there was a knock on my front door. I threw the board across the room and ran for the door. Standing on the other side was a friend of mine. I asked if he felt an earthquake because at that time I lived in Southern California, he said no. There was no earthquake. I’m convinced to this day that whatever was making my bed shake violently with me on top was demonic and preying on my the fact that I was venerable because I had lost my mother. To this day, I have never touched a Oujia board again.

Grandma had a board. My Mom wasn't comfortable with it and avoided it. When she became married and started her own family, Mom refused to allow a board into her home. When I was old enough to understand, Mom had a talk with me about it. She told me about her childhood and that her mother had played with it with friends. Mom made it very clear to me that she would never mess with it, that it wasn't allowed in her home, and that I was not to have anything to do with it. She strongly emphasized that, instead of giving into peer pressure to treat it like a party game, I was to stay away from it, and to not allow those individuals into my inner circle of trusted friends. She made it clear that one should never invite evil into our lives. She also warned about the psychics, and that not all spirits are good spirits, and that many bad spirits pretend to be goid ones. I was to have nothing to do with any of it. Looking back over the decades, Mom was right. My life has it's ups and downs. But many of those friends from those childhood interactions ended up being the ones that were constantly making self-destructive decisions. They were also part of the groups that appeared to be part of the in-crowd while experimenting early and often with alcohol and drugs. I prefer the clean life that had a lot more peace. Never underestimate the value of peace.

Going through deliverance for demonic oppression now. Had multiple UFO experiences and been hit by a team of light and lost control of my body. My first encounter with a medium was a year and a half after our 26 year old son died in a fire. Religion had me doubting where he was. We were invited to a group reading at friends of ours who had also lost a kid only months after our son died. I prayed up big time beforehand because this was a HUGE "no no". The whole thing was crap until the very end. Our son popped into the woman's brain along with his fiance(they died together). She described our son in a way that could not be refuted. Told us they were together and what our son was doing. I left there on cloud 9 of peace, knowing a little bit of where he was.This medium had zero knowledge about us. Since then, we have had 2 other experiences that were very positive. I would trust a REAL medium before I would trust a priest. I know demons operate through many mediums. As a Christian you should be able to discern this, and I have.

Pre-Christian religions knew about ethics and morality, but they never tied them to the gods, who were immoral, frankly. Zeus was a sexual predator. The Natural Law can be found by anyone, but that's the beginning of morality, not the end. The spirits they worshipped were no friends of humanity. Why is it that no protestant like a Baptist or a Methodist gets possessed ? There is a great movie called the Skeleton Key which involves voodoo and the main point of the movie is you must believe in it for it to take effect . So how many Christian religions teach that demons can possess people and but also have a form of exorcism vs how many of them do not ?

There are possessed people everywhere, they may not be every second person but just visit an insane asylum or psych ward if you would like to meet a few. Read your Bible and especially the New Testament Joe for examples of people being possessed, what they did and how they were freed from them.

Thats a good point if we are standing in holy places meaning places where the spirit can dwell, like our homes for example or our own hearts, the devil would in a way be “bound”. Jesus's gave his disciples the power to forgive sins in John 20:22-23. It doesn't depend on their own holiness, they don't have that. They are given it at their ordination, by a laying on of hands, which goes back to the Apostles. You can be forgiven by a special grace at a moment of personal conversion, but you still after that, and priests are there to act in Jesus' place when you want to wipe the slate clean.
