that is great! it seems to me that making the 1st is always hardest, takes years to get done, but then with all you've learned, the next only takes 6 weeks, then you can do 3 a week. i love the progress, and the journey

This is the new most commented video :D And wow 5 years, quite a journey. The flexibility is very good, and you can even move in it freely, with actuators you probably will walk like without a suit, that's awesome. Although I still think placing separate pump and muscle on every leg is not the best idea, would be interesting to see how that goes.

@@DylanEdmiston Yeah, that is a good idea, and also batteries, instead of concentrating them in one bulky pack, you can place them evenly over the whole body surface, the advantage of a full body suit. By the way, how the rocket design is going? Have you compared a jet engine to a rocket engine in terms of size/thrust/efficiency? Or you just want that instant thrust and cool looking exhaust of a rocket? :D

A bit of both. It does look cool but the main reason for rockets is for the high energy maneuvers like hovering and breaking speed of sound. I will have a jet engine on mkii for cruising and efficiency

Came to your channel for the magnetic switch and then found this video. It looks jenky af but I'm diggin it. Have you thought about press forming your aluminum parts with 3d printed parts to save on the bulkiness, weight, machining, welding, and add more range of motion? I know you have a lot of time into this already so perhaps for the MKII? "Stuff Made Here" has a good video on it titled 3D Printed Sheet Metal Forming and it looks like you're already in contact with Hobson so I can only imagine where this going to go. I see fire in the near future. Don't worry... Fire is cool!!! uh huh huh :D

Do not use screw the exoskeleton. Maybe use the electric door lock coil or spring lock into your exoskeleton.
