I say a 5 o'clock shadow beard. Do you realize that the cabbage is coleslaw called by a different name? The reason why everything tastes so good is because it's fresh and probably truly organic as well, unlike what we have to buy in North America where everything is supply and demand. Nice to hear you reference Trinidad again. David, you have to go back to Trinidad for carnival and you should hook up with a carnival band, get a costume and join in in the parade. You would love it. Plus you get to display the costume in your new office along with your collection of masks. Love these videos in Nicaragua and your host is very nice. Looking forward to the next one.🇹🇹🇨🇦

No, no, I'm a farmer and believe we don't have control with pesticides. Probably the taste is because we use a lot of water to irrigate our fruits and veggies also we have good soil and weather. All those things help.
@JudyT8682 жыл бұрын
@@nicamarisol I agree. That's why I said probably organic. What country do you live in? I am originally from Trinidad and we grew everything truly organic. This was in the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's until I left in 1976. And it's true that the soil is richer and better, and the weather is more conducive to growing crops.

The main difference between coleslaw and ensalada de repollo is the dressing, coleslaw is made with a cream based dressing, ensalada de repollo is made with a vinegar based and peppers dressing , plus tomatoes , cucumbers and green peppers.
@JudyT8682 жыл бұрын
@@jcmendieta5357 ok thanks. I really noticed that it wasn't creamy. Same idea, different dressing. Now I know the difference. Thanks again 🇹🇹🇨🇦

What a Nicaragua-Assam-Meghalaya connection! You forgot! You saw those 'sponge gourd's at Bara Bazar market in Shillong. We also traditionally use this as scrubber, particularly in Assam and Meghalaya. In Assamese we call this specific vegetable as 'bhul' and as a vegetable, we often cook fish curry with it, which is very tasty. We expect you back in Assam and NE States soon; better after September till April! :)

Me encanta el video. Probaste tantas comidas differentes. I love the video. You tried so many different foods. Too bad traveling these days is such an unpleasant experience what with the stupid covid rules. permissions, paperwork, tracking etc they force on people... or I'd have already been to Nicaragua by now. Someone could make a fortune if they organized private tours/charters where people could avoid all that silliness.

Theres never left overs cause he eats it all. Also he never puts others youtube pages up only instagram links. Go watch Mark or Sonny and how they treat their guests or tours guides it night and day.
@Davidsbeenhere Жыл бұрын
I always link people's preferred social channel. They let me know what they want me to use. Also, it is literally completely untrue that I don't buy my staff and guides food. I absolutely do! I support local business, and I always tip my guides substantially as well. They absolutely do eat and you are just slandering me. 90% of the footage doesn't make it to the final video and I don't have time to always show those parts. I respect you have your opinion but it isn't cool to make things up about people. Just because you don't see it on camera doesn't mean you don't see it. Have you ever thought that maybe forcing people on the clock to eat on camera might actually be invasive and exploitative? People should be allowed to eat in peace not with me pointing my camera in their face. That said have a great evening and I appreciate you expressing yourself.
