I own Ecoboost 2020 premium fast pack 10 speed auto. The thing is fast but depends on you. You can go to sport+ mode and change gear to sport, its way faster. One hit on acceleration you get 8k. People saying its not fast have never been in one before. Only down side is the sound of the car. It sounds like japanese cars not like muscles

Yeah. I get better MPG with full bolt ons and a tune than the GT does, and the car handles very nicely. I get a lot of crap for the 4 banger, but my car looks a lot like the one in this video (but personally I think mine sounds better/deeper lol) and it's pretty quick.

There are no advantages over the V8. Yeah it’s 200 pounds lighter in the nose. As far as gas mileage mine is heavily modded and tuned and I get 17.4 mpg. I hear people saying they are in the 20-25 mpg. I’ve never experienced that lol. I have a lead foot tho. Do yourself a favor and buy the V8. The $6k you will spend in mods to make it just as fast as a GT you could buy a GT for $6k more and be faster, shit I’ve seen GT’a the same price as the ecoboost lately.

@@ryan52620 200 lbs off the front end would do a lot for handling. Back in high school in the late 70s I had a 69 Stang with a 428 and my buddy had a 67 with a 289. Those cars were affordable then. I think the weight off the front end was similar. The 67 definitely felt more nimble and balanced in the corners. More fun to drive but no match in acceleration of course.

I’ve only heard one 4 banger that sounded good. Somehow dodge managed to make the old 03-05 SRT-4 sound good. Everything else sounds like a weed wacker. The mustang looks sharp in the video.

They look nice and sporty and they also have a lower price point than the gt and they save gas on long commutes. Some people wanna keep their ecoboost because they’re leasing the car and they don’t want to accumulate more debt by getting another car so they just build onto the one that they already have. It’s lots of reason why someone wouldn’t just go buy a gt 😂

This engine is in the RS, they’re both the 2.3, the ST is a 2.0. Which honestly they’re not bad. I love my ST. Stage 3 on JST performance tune and they’re pretty fast

just so you know if you are from belgium [look at the licence plate]. if you go for the V8 you have to pay $14'723[regTAX] on top of the sticker price + $4'997[HighEmission TAX] every year just for owning that 5 liter V8. and for the Eco its $4'992 on top and $713 every year. and I can say 90 ish percent of Mustangs you see here are the Ecoboost because of this. same reason why I got the Eco in belgium if I lived somewhere else where this isn't a thing I would have gotten the V8. fun fact for the money I spend here in belgium I could have gotten a Mach 1 Premium in the USA.
