In this tutorial, I'll show you how to build a very simple and easy but efficient working minecraft 1.20 bedrock edition kelp bonemeal farm that uses the zero tick or 0-tick automatism, also refered to as a zerotick kelp farm minecraft, some people do call it a minecraft 1.20 kelp farm bedrock edition. It isn't a zero tick sugarcane farm, but you can use this as an automatic, so fully afk zero tick bonemeal farm for bedrock edition!
If you wanna know, how to make a bone meal farm in minecraft or don't know how to build an automatic kelp farm in minecraft 1.20 bedrock edition, this video will explain everything!
In addition to that, this farm will definitely work on mcpe, realms and servers, that's an advantage to other minecraft farms!

Make sure to make this farm at centre of chunk otherwise it'll might break if you leave that area and comes back. Also don't leave game whike thid farm is working cause it might break it.

Tbh the chunk doesnt matter too much. Just turn the farm off if your gonna leave the general area of it. Worst case scenario, it "breaks." When it breaks, really what that means is that you just have to replace the sand and kelp and boom, youre good to go. Just start the farm up again​@ohitsthatonedude

Tried it and works in realms. Great tutorial. I was really struggling on bonemeal and this is an easy farm to set up. I went with the 12 long and everything going smoothly. Some kelp flies out even with roof etc but only literally 4 kelp every so often 5/5 ⭐️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@@noahkahre5308 heads up, like the others it broke as it was between chunks. I could work out chunks border, I remade it using 2 along. It’ll work if you destroy and remake it but the 12 long did me for a number of ingame days. Place 4 jungle tree saplings, feed 1 with bonemeal and booft you got a stack of wood, definitely worth it just work out the kinks with chunks

If you don't want to dig a great big hole in a slime chunk go to a swamp wait till night and slime will spawn if your lucky you will find some

Slime farm is a pain to make and you probably won't need it that much.

Nah, they nerfed the XP rate so its not worth it as an XP farm, but it still works to mass produce items

this is not a "0 tick" farm there is no such thing as 0 tick as of yet in bedrock edition this is a forced update farm, for whatever reason whenever sand momentarily becomes entity advances age for kelp, this has nothing to do with 0 tick but random bug with how kelp advances in age

I built this farm underground, I’m having problems with it breaking the sand and the kelp but I’m not leaving. I’m also having problems with the pistons wanting to work even with the lever down.

Never left from farm, built within chunk, followed every step, step for step. Everything is right, but still won’t work. I’m on Bedrock. Good looking farm but kelp gets broken after first piston chop….everytime. Pretty sure it used to work great like in video but doesn’t now cuz updates since then wont allow it to work

I would check to make sure the sand block attached to the sticky piston didn't break. I had that issue before and that was the cause of it.

Sooo I tried this build and it's not working the Redstone clock seems to "burn out" and the sand doesn't stay in place. Not only that but the Redstone doesn't seem to activate the sticky pistons unless I put it one line above where they are ... am I missing something cause I have watched 20 or so videos of this machine and none of them work

Wrong it is not expandable forever, the max you can do is 12 slots because after that the redstone wont travel anymore and it breaks. Just a heads up for anyone who plans on adding more than that. Hope it saves you a lot of trouble i had to go through, 2 hours down the drain 👎

No. This design is a generally known one and I covered it a few times myself. Also, as with many minecraft farms, this is the only logic way to design that farm.

You suppose to not leave this farm when going too far away. Always turn off that farm when not used. When using this farm u have to afk. And save and quit the game will break the farm

Zero-tick farms are in the game for a long time, at least as long as I am on KZbin, although there were slight changes in design. The mechanic itself is not inteded so it could be considered a glitch, but personally, I like to use it in survival myself, offering a good renewable source of bonemeal and still being a complete farm to build. For the case that you didn't want to use such a farm in your world, you can stick with a moss based farm, which are fully inteded mechanics.

Redstone signals lock hoppers make sure you don't have any redstone or powered blocks touching a hopper maybe?

@@darkwings3007 thats because the redstone signal wont reach to all of the pistons because it is to weak, so you will have to find a way to incorporate a repeater if you want to have it 16 wide.

If you leave the farm on and leave the area or the game, it will break the farm. No matter if you rebuild it, it won't work anymore bc the chunk loses its zero-tick efect within the chunk area. Very annoying ngl bugrock...

It is bc of range of simulation distance how far you loaded the chunk area from farm. If you set to 12 chunks then you can leave but don't go too far unless the farm would break
