Nice video. I made the mistake of running the output of both trident killers into one storage system. With both trident killers going the sorting system can't keep up and you end up being lagged out a bit due to all the loot entities piling up in the killers waiting to go into storage. It's a limitation of hopper speeds that causes it. So, like your video I ran to 2 seperate systems in the end but with the swords going to a smelter with 6 blast furnaces,. Some still goes to trash as the farm is itself is so efficient! I also sent the rotten flesh to trash still using the item filter as I get more than I'll ever need from my mob farm. I thought about using allays for the swords but it's too close to my flying machine bamboo farm that uses allays for collection and they'd get confused lol. To be honest, on my single player world I really only need a single portal gold farm but watching the mass zombie piglins come out of the portals and drop in your farm is just so satisfying!

I build a similar item sorter for all my trident killer farms. The problem is with 4 portals, the sheer amount of drops you get is ungodly. With that being said, we need a way to increase collection and distribution to accommodate the amount of drops. Regular hoppers simply will not work fast enough For a single portal farm tho, this type of system works great. But even with 2 portals, it'll clog with swords

I have that same issue too. Feels like I have to actively look at the inside of my Blast Furnace 24/7 while the farm is running just to take out any gold and rotten flesh that could stop the sword smelting process while the rest of the gold farm is still running. It's a little bit annoying & idk how to fix it either.

Idk if you still need the fix but the only way is to give the hoppers a 1 block gap so that the redstone doesn't connect near the comparators

Use allays to sort swords and with that level of drops from farm the hoppers are bound to miss some so just use extra item sorters

The system works for about 30 minutes and inevitably flesh or nuggets end up in smelter and sorting stops after that, rebuilt entire system twice with same result.

Are you in realms? Probably caused by lag. Add a chest at the end. Its a band aid fix, but better than no fix.

Guys does anyone know what to do when some of gold nuggets/ingots/ rotten flesh bypass the sortage? It then goes the same path as the swords, which I built a supersmelter for. When they get there they just stop the whole smelter because these items are impossible to cook.

I've never gotten them to work right on bedrock I know you can fix it by controling where the stuff passes over the hoppers(or u use to be able to. Either him or whisper had a video on it)

He has the filter hoppers turned the wrong way. They are supposed to point towards the comparators, not away from them.

You can use 4 hoppers with slabs on top in place of the hopper mine cart, that’s what I did and it seems to be running like butter

Easy fix to prevent zombie flesh/nuggets getting in furnace simply add another nugget module and another flesh module… I personally have all my flesh,swords and armor dump straight into lava as I have no need for any of it and I think the farms plenty efficient without the smelting of sword and stuff I also have both my nugget modules go straight into auto crafters to make bars

So many item entities cause overflow and sometimes items are missed, I'm gonna try 2 chest columns for flesh and nuggets to see if it can keep up better.

If your having problems with the dirt not staying in the hopper you have to make sure all the redstone touches are placed!!! Just did it and it works

Just build more hopper lines above the sorter hoppers. This will help a bit. Otherwise look for a fast hopper minecart hopper system

Best fix I found was to go to the last hopper above the blast furnace and put a single ingot, nugget, and flesh in the 3 right hand side slots (if you're AFKing this will only last until 64 of one of those items gets through). Or even do another single nugget in the 4th slot from the right as that's most frequent. I can afk for about an hour or so before it blocks up

I keep having an issue where some gold and rotten flesh filters through to the furnace. I've built just like you have so I think it's just due to server lag not letting the hoppers place them down in time so they skip along. If it isn't server lag do you know how to fix this issue?

@@jax1449 I'm 100% sure it's due to server lag, so instead of 3 chest system like he has for every item I put a 6 chest sorting system, 2 for each. This way if rotten flesh or nuggets lag past the first hopper they will definitely go into the second hopper. Works good 👍 hope this helps

@@N8D0GG yes for the most part, there's been a couple times that somehow rotten flesh got through but I've also afk'd for hours and it was perfect. So yes do this, make 6 chests, 2 for each item. even if you do this 0 gold bars will go to the second chest and only a couple nuggets will go through and it's lost rotten flesh that falls through, so you could even add a third chest for rotten flesh just to be safe

I think that's due to game lag, you cannot build the system any more reliable. If you want, you can integrate a second filter.

That probably is due to game lag. I recommend you build a second filter so after the 3 cells gold nuggets - gold ingots - rotten flesh you repeat the same thing.

This is great but next time you show a tutorial on any farm with a lot of junk make sure to always add a automatic item sorter or else people would end up just not building ur farms
