oh my god your door is so similar to mine! While i got this layout before, mine has gone the compact route, but yours has gone the fast route, so both has advantages. perhaps when i release the world download you can improve its speed if you want

by the way, is thisinfinitely expandable? bc i see redstone lines, which i believe will run out at 15/16 wide. Is there a workaround for that?

No it's not infinitely expandable although there is space at the bottom so it can be expanded to 30-45 etc pretty easily with an (instant) repeater line. I would however increase the heigth.
