I mean trap team does kinda do it where if you want to play as the villains from those mysterious new elements, you have to get the sunscraper spire and the midnight museum to unlock the light and dark elements, but overall they don't have anything else to do with the story

I have so much nostalgia for the SSA expansion packs. I usually despise DLC content in games, but those were a great example of how Skylanders did DLC well, unlike a lot of games. It actually felt like it was worth the money, as you were getting a physical product as well new in-game content.

Tower of Time is my favorite Adventure pack because I love its concept and story which is almost same in the console versions and the 3DS version. Sadly Cluck isn't boss in the 3DS version. Tower of Time is the only Adventure pack I own. My brother owns the other ones. My problem with Sheep Wreck Island isn't the length, considering the fact I like long chapters in Swap Force, but how bland and shockingly hardcore it is. Different than Tower of Time, Sheep Wreck Island doesn't have Sheep Mage but has Vortex Monster who looks like Sheep Mage's giant sheep form. Weird isn't it? Sheep Wreck Island is better in the 3DS version, its ending is anti-climatic, especially compared to Tower of Time in the 3DS version. Used to play the Adventure pack chapters with my brother in the Wii version of Spyro's Adventures and Swap Force. Also used to play the Adventure packs of Spyro's Adventures in the 3DS version of Giants. Dragon's Peak is interesting due to the fact Vathek is boss in the 3DS version but not in the console versions which is in my opinion very disappointing. I hated how Dragon's Peak chapter kept crashing sometimes in the 3DS version of Giants. Empire of Ice is Arkeyan themed in the 3DS version for some reason but features cyclops as enemies. Yeah, the wall boss in the console versions is really lame. Darklight Crypt and Pirate Seas aren't special in the 3DS version. They're just like any chapters in the 3DS version of Spyro's Adventure. The lack of new Adventure packs and the Adventure pack Spyro's Adventure being same in Giants is a huge let down. Superchargers having Racing Action Packs instead of any actual Adventure packs is truly a massive disappointment. I'm 100% sure the reason why Superchargers has Racing Action Packs instead of Adventure packs is because of Superchargers: Racing. Adventure/Expansion packs are very disappointing in the 3DS version of Trap Team because they're more like minigames rather than chapters but they do have their own stories. Nightmare Express ties to the main story as it's taken over by Dream Sheep's army. Summoning Mirror of Mystery alters the reality by turning Skylands into a total dystopia and corrupting Eon into Evilon who rule the dystopian Skylands. Yes, Eon turns into Evilon in the 3DS version but he becomes good Eon again after he is defeated. The Darkness is trying to take over Midnight Musem. The defense mechanisms of Sunscraper Spire is out of control and could destroy the entire Skylands if it's not stopped. Different than other games, I never played the Adventure packs of Imaginators but I do know a lot about them. Cursed Tiki Temple is the best Adventure pack of Imaginators due to its metaphorical theme. I don't care about Gryphon Park Observatory, Enchanted Elven Forest and Lost Imaginite Mines, except that moment when Blobbers punches the boss is extremely hilarious. Thumpin' Wumpa Islands is conceptually very fun but Fake Crash boss battle is shockingly Dark Souls hard.

In my opinion the pirate sees level really suck balls. The last part is just annoyinh and boring. Floathing in a pirate ship and ahooting the land 300 times. And the wprst part of the level. The memory games. You ahd to play 7 games of memorie that took way to long to comete because of all the cutscenes and tbe poor card selection method. Literally all the memorie minigames take 3/4 of the level time... glad to have it 3 stars so i never have to play it again. And the deagons peak. Level that one is really good. But what the frick is that flying part you need to do 6 times or so. Unrewarding, the red gems don't give you anything. And the dragons movement often doesn't work. And the flying parts are just boring and repetative overall. They take away the level flow

The Spyro's Adventure Expansion Packs were so cool in my opinion. I remember having a good time in Dragon's Peak (the only one I got). I do wish they made some for Giants, since that one had less base game chapters than the first one.

I disagree with the Swap-Force adventure packs. I don't care if they're long, I always liked them. I also disagree with Gryphon Park Observatory. It's one of my favorite Imaginators levels because of how peaceful and beautiful it is. Also, it's the only level in the game (not counting the element realms and the last two, CTT and LIM), to not have boss fights. I also love tricking that sheep knight into falling off the bridge and that Kaos doesn't show up as an annoying blue head that does not shut up. Meanwhile, I don't like Lost Imaginite Mines because I had it on my old Wii U but then it just had to break before I got Ro-Bow. And then when I got my PS4 and new Wii U, the stupid level isn't even on the game. And I absolutely hate Midnight Museum because of the stupid, time-wasting, ball-in-the-hole puzzles and the annoying Spyclopters.

I agree that Griffin Park Observatory is the worst level in Skylanders, I hate that level. Also, I think Lost Imaginite Mines is the best level in Imaginators, which, gonna be honest, isn't a high bar to clear, as the Imaginators levels weren't great. This is excluding Cursed Tiki Temple, as I just ordered Wildstorm, so he has come yet, but once he does I'll have every expansion pack for Skylanders.

Vicarious visions probably didn’t make any adventure pack levels because they were more or less along for the ride so they could pump out yearly releases. Maybe that’s why like half the vicarious visions NPCs and skylanders have the same face.
