There's a special Void biome that the superflat preset uses that mobs can't spawn in, which I think your map is based on. If that's your biome then mobs can't naturally spawn in your world at all, and you're restricted to spawn eggs. If you ever get a mob spawner block though, you can right click it with a spawn egg to change the mob it spawns (still needs to be a valid place for it to spawn, though, like needing grass for pigs and such).

You can just get infinite snow blocks from a snowman, though. Its much faster than the stone generator. Maybe not as useful, though. Atleast you can use it until you get the lava bucket. :P Just lock a snowman onto a single block, and block him in from the sides. Then shovel the ground infinitely.

There is a way to fight the ender dragon in this. All you have to do is make an end portal but it is four frames in the shape of the ender portal so each frame represents one row and fill them in with eyes of ender then you need to toss a nether star into it Edit: you can use the command block just set it down and throw a block on it that you want to duplicate
