Let me tell you, moving abroad is exciting-absolutely life-changing. But it’s not all smooth sailing. You’ve got to be ready. I’ve seen too many people dive in without thinking everything through, and trust me, it doesn’t end well. Here’s what you need to know: 1. Understand the culture-it’s different, and that’s a good thing, but you need to respect it and learn how things work. 2. Set boundaries-emotional and financial. You’ve got to protect yourself. 3. Build a support system-whether it’s other expats or locals you trust. You don’t want to feel like you’re on your own out there. When my teen daughter and I moved abroad… during the pandemic 😷 it was a whole new world, but we took our time to learn the culture, navigate the system, and truly make it home while we were there. It wasn’t always easy, but we found our way-so it’s possible

The Gentleman from America who was married to a very young Gambian girl seems like a sensitive soul. I'm 63 originally from England now living in Gambia since 2018. I have romanced quite a few Gambian young women in that time. My motto is transactional. I know they don't love me but they love my money.

Just curious--How is Africa more relaxing, more healing, more easy going--when you have to consider having a Maasai warrior standing outside of your hotel door so that you are safe? The reality is that KNK Squad is now traumatized. We can make up our own fantasies about how she's lying and how she has pulled off her own fingernail trying to stage this event but deep down, we all know that someone indeed was in her room and she had to fight for her life. Now she has this trauma that she did NOT even have in America but have it now in the place that is supposed to be healing. Beyside has a stroke due to the STRESS of African life as an American. I think Black Americans have to start being realistic. Africa had such a bad reputation that we've tried to overcompensate by making Africa into a magical place and this is a lie. Africa s a third world continent and if given the choice, most of the people would gladly leave that continent for the west...in a heartbeat. THIS is reality and Black Americans have to acknowledge this!

If the women are not safe in Gambia! Did they do research before moving there? Or did they want to go to the motherland without doing deep research. I have been reading about women who move there running into problems!...

@KeKeLuvsNIGERIA - Its sad when people move to the motherland to be a part of it. Then when you finally make that move, you get taken advantage of or get killed! By the majority of a people who look like you! I guess all skin folks are definitely not kin folks! Whatever moves we make in our lives , we must move with caution!!

Sounds like the older guy with the young Gambian wife really miscalculated both the age and the status difference, I strongly believe he would not have had a stroke if he had been with a different partner
@MDCW-k6y3 күн бұрын
You can tell he understands where he went wrong and he's even giving props to women within his own culture because he admitted that it's rare for a Black American woman (even a younger woman) to NEVER want to give anything back to a man who has done a lot for her. He misses that cultural aspect of Black American women. I know he does.

I started following KNK Squad when she was having a tummy tuck in I think it was somewhere in S. America. Then when she and her fam moved to Ghana and that whole fiasco at the airport. I was amazed they had the money for a trip like that, then come back to Atlanta. She was driving for Amazon to make ends meet, I guess her husband was working too. I guess I missed few videos and she’s divorced and a millionaire. What did I miss? I been following ever since. Where’s her ex and how come the kids are free to travel all over and not in school? Must admit the kids seem to be smart and intelligent. Where did all this money come from? She seems to spend money like theirs no end. Just hope someone can fill in the gaps for me.
