Why ?we never get any expats that have a skill (trade) like welding , carpentry or even auto mechanics that can work on there own part time in which ever country they go retire in or just people with trades that don’t depend on finding a job or living of retirement outside the US. If i was to try living outside the US i would pick up a trade because they are pretty much universal

Ollie forgot to mention that La Paz has all the climates in one city two hours from La Paz is Coroico, Yungas its hot has a beautiful waterfalls and adventures such the death road. Lake titikaka is also 2 tours from La Paz. Milluni glaciar 1 tour from La Paz. Gustu Restaurant one of the 50 beat rest from Latinamerica is also in La Paz. La Paz is becoming a Foodies place to be. La Paz ciudad del cielo!! Prices are incredible cheap.... where you can fine in a Restaurant founded by Klaus Meyer the famous scandinavian chef winner of 5 Michelin star Gustu rest. As for safety it all depends upon where you go. If you go to the wrong neighborhood in Chicago you're going to get shot, mugged or beaten. Do you think Isreal is getting rocket fire every night from Hamas. No it just depends upon where you go once you're inside Isreal.

Hey Steve. Yeah... I guess it all depends on where you go because there are some dodgy areas in most cities. I believe that you are able to find that out after some time living in any foreign country.

@@ReadyGoExpat oh wow okay. Well im from the UK. And I spent 3 months in cochabamba BO in 2013 when I was around 19 and I've not been the same since. (I also passed through Sao Paulo which was beautiful reminded me of Jamaica a bit)
