In this video, we will go through the demo of how to set up a German blocked account for students and professional willing to move to Germany. Blocked account is a must requirement for Visa purpose in many situations, and this usually involves transferring big amount, which can make the process a bit stressful who is new to this process. So with aim to make you familiar and reduce your fear of unknown I have made a quick video with demo of setting up Expatrio's blocked account service.

Health insurance under bundle package include both travel insurance and then proper German health insurance as well. Please look into the details of any plan that you are interested in, it should have all the details mentioned on their website. Else, please send email to them with your query.

If Europe is your place to be then Germany have great biotech education to offer, Switzerland is also good, but it has a smaller market plus PR and Citizenship takes a lot more time... Otherwise, US offer good institutes, and job opportunities, if you prefer US culture and lifestyle more than European lifestyle... So it will depend on your choices... That's the average public insurance cost for all student. When you are above 30 years, you have to pick private insurance. Public health insurance may appear more expensive to the private, but it is cashless, and have more peace of mind usually.

If you already have GERMAN health insurance then you don’t need to buy it again. With blocked account companies you can just buy blocked account services as well, and not the combo. But if you don’t have GERMAN health insurance then there combos are good value.

my university charges tuition fees, so in require to show the same amount in an unblock account, what is an unblocked account is it current account and does expatrio provides that service.

Embassy now needs proof of 2nd sem fee as well, additionally to 1st sem fee. Blocked account have now started to provide service to deposit additional some based on your needs, if Embassy ask for submitting 2nd sem fee to blocked account then you can get it blocked now on top of the based blocked amount, and have it released around the time when you have to pay the 2nd sem fee. This won't be needed if someone has already paid 2nd sem fee, or have loan proof for 2nd sem fee.

1 day for adding beneficiary to money transfer services, Then 1.5 to 2 business days for money transfer service to send money to blocked account, then 1 day for Expatrio to send confirmation... Money transfer service will give you their Indian bank account - you have to add it as beneficiary - then you can send money by RTGS or NEFT, you have to mention the given transaction or reference number in notes field for quicker tracking of your transaction...

You have 2 ways to do it. Using their internal wire transfer method (cohort go). 2nd is to use any third party app like Instarem/wester union/wise etc. For all, you will be give an Indian account number, then you can send money from your or close relative's bank account to their Indian Bank account via NEFT or RTGS as asked by them.

Confirmation usually takes 1-3 working days after your funds have been transferred fully. You can transfer either via bank account transfer using their internal transfer partner i.e. cohort go, or you can direct send money to your European bank account via money transfer services like Instarem, Western Union etc... Yes there is a limit to complete the fund transfer after initiation, it is mentioned on the same section where the payment it initiated. For INR based transfer the time limit is around 48 hours, and for direct Euro based transaction I think it is either 10 or 15 days... If you miss that, then transaction gets cancelled, and you have to initiate a new transaction in Expatrio... For third party money transfer services, the time to do fund transfer are much less like 48 hours... Sure, will make video on finding affordable accommodation, and how can student save money for same.

You will either way need Health insurance if you have finalized on going with Germany, be it this winter sem or next summer sem, you can get blocked account + insurance combo, because you have flexibility to change the health insurance start date. Initially you can set expected date based on enrollment date, generate insurance, send to uni, then in blocked account update expected date to later date... Just to be sure ask Expatrio support if you can change the health insurance date if your travel get delayed by 1 semester or whatever delay you expect.

There is some chance that if you make payment early morning on Thursday then they will send you confirmation by Friday night. Else may be Monday afternoon or evening. But I will suggest if possible may payment to there account as soon as possible.

Yes, that can be done with Family reunion Visa. After you reach Germany, and get your Residence permit, your spouse and kids in India can then visit German embassy based on appointment dates. Waitlist for FRV are very long like 3 months, and entire process can take easily 6 months, So one should prepare accordingly. Also, spouse attending interview for FRV visa in India or Outside Germany will need to show all needed documents like - German spouse's residence permit, proof of large enough accommodation in Germany for entire family (12m2 or more per family member and kids should have separate room ideal if there are big enough to speed alone)... So, yes, it's possible...

I think what I remember it was around INR 862591 for me when I paid, but It was based on the conversion rate at that time... Euro to INR keeps changing... I think Euro is a bit weaker now, but it keeps varying a little bit...

Extra amount for fee can be added as additional sum, for this you can also contact the blocked account company as well. To unlock the extra fee you will have to provide a letter from your uni or course coordinator mentioning the date of fee payment. Or you may try to get a letter from embassy or foreign office in Germany mentioning to unlock the amount for fee payment.

Yes. You can get student loan for blocked account, which is cheaper than personal loan, and have transferred it to Indian bank accounts of the blocked account companies shared with you on their websites. Few bank managers, who are unfamiliar with blocked account, may not approve it straight away. So you can either convince them that 1000s of student take such loan from all different type of bank for the purpose of blocked account, and it is not a new thing anymore, or you can contact different bank who will approve it easily. There is also one non-profit organization "We Make Scholars", they claim to help student for free, in getting loans approved in such cases, so if needed and if you find them authentic then you may contact them...

For work permit you need job offer letter... For job from India, you will have to try a lot, because of many barrier like language barrier, then many companies Don't cater to candidate unless they are already in Germany... But you can try to find English only job, and specially try luck with startups and smaller companies, as they are many times flexible to hire people from outside Germany and EU... Then you also have option of Job seeker visa, which allowd you 6 month in Germany to search job... Which is specially good if you can also work remotely without quiting Indian job or You can take 6 months sabatical, hence no major risk...

The admission offer is linked to the semester you applied for, and student is supposed to join the university ideally by the starting date of semester... In case student will be later by few days, they have to inform it to their course coordinator and university... And in case student want to delay admission to next semester then that should be conveyed to university as well, so they will later issue new offer letter for the target semester dates... Again, this is not standard across all uni or course, and vary by uni and courses...
