Good interview as always. I would sugest if I may, provide more information about the ins and outS of opening a business in Portugal. Thank you for everything you do. You guys are awsome Two 👍👍 up.

Thank you, Will. We appreciate that. We'll look into doing a business specific video but it's going to be pretty niche so we'll have to make sure we pair it right with other elements that will help the video do well otherwise, it won't reach many people due to the algorithm. It's one of those things that we could do the video and you might not even see the title and thumbnail to watch it because it got too little interest. - Josh & Kalie

I would second this suggestion. There may be great things folks from outside of Portugal can bring. Personally we probably don't have the capital but for an Expat to invest deeper into the community they move to is a great. As a Patreon subscriber if you put this there first I think that would be fine. I hope you won't always be beckon to the algorithm! While I understand its importance if that content is lacking across KZbin then how the heck can it know if the subject will be popular.
@ExpatsEverywhere17 күн бұрын
@@Chriss-Gear Thanks. We've created some really important pieces of content that very view people have seen because of the algorithm (and people don't know how to search creators channels well enough for the info they're looking for).To give you an example, we created a really difficult piece about long term healthcare in Portugal because some people are wondering "what's it going to be like as I age?" and it didn't get a good reaching from a broad enough cross-section of our regular viewers so YT killed the video thinking that people just weren't that interested in it. We can see that played out in our analytics. This is likely why a lot of creators our size stick to broad general content because it's what gets views. We've taken a different approached and tried to balance broad and narrow stuff to serve our community. - Josh & Kalie

Most people in Portugal speak English [60%{ Houses are far cheaper here than most western country's and all you main household bills are much cheaper. and no hurricanes here.

Houses are brutally expensive for the portuguese and we are already getting quite racist against the imigrants from rich countries too.
@robertlee64792 ай бұрын
@@PurpleHighWatchtower You mean my E125 a week is rich, won't even pay my rent in England. I have seen house to renovate for E4,000 if that#s expensive you need a better job or quit drinking and smoking, if you do it. The same house to do up in England cost £150,000, that's expensive.

@@oscarsantas6528 Well if you only speak Portuguese you won't have much fun if you want to visit other countries, will you as all airports speak English and every country has people who speak English, but I can only think of 5 countries that speak Portuguese and a wouldn't want to go too 3 of them so that leave you a bit stuck. 1/2 the world speaks English and a great number are currently learning, so you#ll be left in the cold or are you not bothered about visiting the big wide world as there is a lot to see. Out of 206 countries and territories, 5 will understand you while all will understand English. Puts you in a spot doesn't it or don't you want to see how the other 1/2 lives and the wonders of the world.

Is there a way to identify expats communities? Not interested in church per se.
@ExpatsEverywhereАй бұрын
Sure, there are group of people that gather in a wide variety of cities and towns across Portugal. Searching Facebook groups can be helpful, however, some of the groups are a bit toxic online so if they have offline meetups, those are the ones to join but you'll find them online first. I know that might sound counter intuitive but it's the unfortunate reality. All the best! - Josh
