Any one company that has as huge of a weight as tesla apple nvidia etc that can make the overall index tank or rise depending on what it's doing is something of a risk to say the least. Secondly the chip design is focusing on power efficiency which is going to become vastly more important. Third, their new interconnect technology is going to be off the hook from the looks of it. Lastly, look up neuromorphic computing. I'm a computer nerd by passion and an IT engineer by profession. I used to be an AMD fan boy and still have love for the company but in the next five years Intel's going to be saying hold my beer.
