The first time I saw Kevin O'Leary on TV, I thought, what an "arrogant jerk" - After seeing him and following him for the past 4 years, it is clear I was wrong. This guy simply gets it. I would be honored to work for one of his companies. (I worked for a Warren Buffet company for 17 years, and saw first hand how in-experienced mid-level management and above are selected and hired, based purely on a pedigree, without regard to work or life experience.) Kevin invests in people with passion more than a business. He will buy a business with a minimal cash flow and return outlook, if he believes in the people that founded it, and will pass on a business with adequate ROI if he feels they are there as a job and for income only. I saw the story of the small business selling cigarettes in San Francisco that has been broken into 4 times and now his insurance has been dropped because of the risk. To make things worse the city sent him a warning that he has 90 days to fix the damage or fines will result. He basically said one more break in and he will be forced to close down and move out!

I live in a small town in northern California along the ocean and definitely plenty of homeless. The government has refurbished rundown motels and fix them up very nice to put the immigrants in. While the homeless FROM the area continue to be homeless.😮 I do NOT walk anymore in the area. I had a Spanish man come to my front door around 7:00 in the evening a week ago asking to use my phone because his was locked in his car with his keys. I said No... And No I did NOT open my door. I spoke to him from the top of the stairs. 🫤 And shortly after he was there I turned my alarm on even though I usually don't turn it on until later in the evening.

Sadly, the majority of people in San Francisco do not want to save the city. Although I cannot imagine why, they like the way things are there. They are circling all the cars inn the parking garages. Was disappointing that I couldnt even walk down the street to get food...

Everybody in the country that isn't in the top 10% economically is underpaid. You can thank the Republican domination of economic policy since the Nixon administration for that. Most of the food in the US that isn't meat or grain is grown in California. The restaurant food in CA is about 10% chain restaurants like in the rest of the nation. Like the rest of the nation about 80% of the food comes from grocery stores and is prepared and eaten at home. The remaining 10% is so variable that no sensible person, especially a non-resident has any idea what is typical. What the devil are you talking about?
