Absolutely. If the cost of living gets any worse, I will end up on Medicaid, food stamps, Section 8, the works. I'm just an average Joe who has always worked full-time, went to school, lived within her means, no vices, one kid, stable marriage...what more could I have done "correctly?" I had the nuclear family, house and white picket fence and made my way just fine until the 1-2 punch of Obama and Biden. Obama destroyed me, but I was at least able to scrimp and save under Trump and get back on my feet. But Biden finished the job this time. I'd be interested to hear a single thing she actually did in the last 3 years. MSNBC called her the "Border Czar". Now she was just kind of broadly in charge of immigration, and not actually in charge of the border. But she's also not responsible for the immigrants in non-border areas like Denver, Chicago, and NYC. CA and NY had horrible forest fires each year that polluted air all across the country. I don't remember nuclear war, the Czar Bomb, the Tsunami Bomb, cannibalism, or WW3 being a thing with Trump. It actually seems like the weather even got more dangerous under Biden/Harris with bomb cyclones, 100 year floods, apocalyptic climate change. I really don't know what she's done, because she says she's only responsible for the good things in the Biden/Harris Administration. My family has had to give up so much just for us to barely eat, yet these illegals or oh excuse me “undocumented” human beings are being catered to on the backs of taxpayers like me while we suffer and get laughed at if we ask for any assistance. I tried to get some food help and was told I make too much and directed to a food bank where we were given some canned food which I thank my community for, but we went through it all quick and we can only use the food bank because of my income once per month. I make 3100 a month, I have 5 kids and another adult struggling to find work. I have $1200.00 mortgage (which includes my homeowners insurance in the payment), another grand that goes to all the bills because the price of heat and electric has sky rocketed under this administration. That leaves 800 dollars for food, gas for back and forth to work. Things my kids need, I couldn’t buy them school clothes for the first time this year. So they have to wear last years stuff which I have 4 growing boys, sending them in high water pants is heartbreaking for me. We can’t eat healthy because it’s simply not affordable on what we have left over, so I’m having to feed my kids nasty processed food like hamburger helpers for dinner. I mean this is an absolute joke. I’m a nurse. We shouldn’t be struggling like this. My pay hasn’t gone up once since Covid.
