It's just a shame the class suffers from long cooldowns and when the AI controls him they rarely Art Cancel so the animations take forever leading him to lose Aggro and someone dies for it. Maybe it'll get a slight buff? I am unaware with how often Monolith balances their game as this is my first one of theirs.

My ogre Sena can pretty much complete a combo on her own lol, she has break, topple, daze, but launch combos are amazing, Lanz with Lost Vanguard smash master art in a Lone exile can go through the “op” combo route, giving me more chances to equip utility master arts to the rest of my team, and yeah troubadour is amazing to speed up my arts for combos and everything 🙌

Isn’t it funny that Medic Gunner to me starts off as a pretty weak class early game due to lack of options, and then by the end you can turn it into a healing specialist power ring signifer? I thought that was kinda funny. I like to run it with Eunie especially, not only because of her awesome looking upgraded blade, but because you can build all that up and then at any point just go “alright, time to nuke every enemy” and get a 500% damage buffed Ouroborous form. Also, I'm so sad that Machine Assassin is so weak, because Segiri quickly became one of my favourite heroes thanks to her quest lines, and her being able to hit ridiculous TP numbers is hilarious. I just wish that Monolith realised that making debuff resistance down A RESISTABLE DEBUFF was a poor idea

In hindsight I would have use Power Ring more but I thought she was just your typical Healer with a little support. Hopefully she forgives me! As someone who teaches it hurt my heart giving Segiri the lowest rank because like you said Sonic, her lore is great. It's really sad Monolith messed up on her kit.

While I'm fine with Medic Gunner being at A tier, she feels like an S tier whenever I use the class, probably because of the master arts and skills she has avaliable to synergise with her kit. Getting the All About Support skill from Signifer can allow her to run both her own Attack Ring and also the Troubadour's Ring of Roses. The master stance art from the spoiler Agnian Healer class is also just dumb as hell in combination with the rest since it also gives art recharge that stacks with Ring of Roses. She is arguably one of the fastest to charge up the talent art as a healer. Medic Gunner is definitely carried by the master art+skill options, but they really do make the class shine.

Personally, Soulhacker is THE best class in the whole game, yes, i'd say infinitely better than signifer. Battle Pheromone and desperate charge gives you attack up, critical damage up, critical rate up and pause timer on buffs, and Dragon Decree gives you power charge, POWER CHARGE. With Signifer you have to hope rngesus is on your side to get all those buffs, sure you could run 3 signifers to up your chances, but you can run 3 soul hackers with battle pheromone, desperare charge and dragon's decree. This is amazing in chain attacks, where you can do 2 orders with just the Desperate Pheromone buff and just refresh! With Signifer you have to hope that you get Eunie or Taion's ouroboros chain before you lose your buffs. And not only that, funni burst damage. WAIT THAT REMINDS ME! Someone managed to get over 400mil damage in a chain attack using 5 soulhackers, incursor and one signifer. (Mainly for the chain order that can extend the chain attack)

I saw that but it may put a wrong expectation for the community who just say that numbers. It was a specific setup against 15+ mobs to pad Area of Affect Damage. I just hope others saw that and don't expect to pull that off if they try to replicate the setup.

I think Ogre forced itself into the S-tier because it's mandatory for you to perform combos. If Break were guaranteed during Chain Attack, I'd put Ogre in A because Hammerhead spam is its best feature. Also, do you count Lucky Seven as a class? It probably outstrips every attacker and tank class in the game.

I may have ranked a class or two lower than I should have RAlexa! There will be a revised one when the DLC launches! I don't because it has a limited time but most fights can be finished in that time if you set up for it. I just don't have enough information on it since your Skills change when going into it and we still have no data on what they are.

This isn’t bad for the time it was released. But there are a couple of strategies that raise characters like the guardian commander and ogre. Sword fighter should not be higher than seraph assuming you’re using Noah with his spoiler endgame skill. And crit recharge build on lone exile is easily the highest agro generator in the game.

Did they ever wind up patching the debuff resists? Great list. I think strategos deserved to be a bit higher. I get great healing out of it, and it can wind up doing some decent damage in longer fights thanks to the passive skill.

Unfortunately no Bobb. Debuffs never got a chance to shine at high end content. I agree that Strategos could have been higher. If you look at any of my guides on the channel, you'd see that burst damage was king and it ended fights before Strategos did have a chance to outdps other healers.

You may have played on Easy Mode which has values of the enemy lowered while your values are increased. Or you're just good at the game so you didn't need to swap. I just got Camurravi's class before I got to that point and the only one I don't have is Machine Gunner however I looked up at tutorial and skimmed through it. I'm less than halfway through on the writers block side quest. Awesome List and i definitly would agree with most of the Classes. I would rank stalker way lower because for me the Cost vs Value Factor is way too high to fit into the Party. And also maybe Full metal Jaguar. Not because of his dmg but more because his difficult level to get most value out of it. Its super hard to get the Front and Rear positional and dont waste your Autos specially on Big Enemies. Irc in XC2 you were able to still Auto Attack while moving but im not sure. That was way better to not trow away tons of dmg because re positioning. Also maybe War Medic is too high but this is up to debate like the other post Game class. You have 2 Healer with not that much Healing potential but they bring more to the Table and Healing Potency isnt that big of a issue in the Endgame but like i said this is up to debate. ^^ But other than that solid list 👌 And now i think youre Free for Soul Hackers? Didnt really played it the Last days because of FF14 Patch and Island Sanctuary is soo good.

Although I agree with you for the most part, I feel like Full Metal Jaguar has "decent" damage most game but has amazing survivability when played manually due to having the art Quick Draw and access to the master arts Aerial Slash and Jackal Claw. And like he mentions in the video, the class really shines in the Chain Attack phase. I agree for the stalker though, they don't have slow attack and arts animations and doesn't bring value to the fight outside of damage making it only good during the Chain Attack phase. Only due because it's damage numbers are so high in general. I kind of disagree with Swordsman and Zephyr though. The Swordsman class easily becomes outclassed by the Incursor class in every way late game even with Noah's stat buffs to the class. (I also believe that Lucky Seven/Unlimited Sword does not belong to the Swordsman class but to Noah specifically.) I think it's easy to say, that the class is "average" in terms of late game. As for the Zephyr class, it's "good" but tanks lose viability as a whole in the end game simply because Signifers can buff everyone to the point where they can tank. Also the Master Skill Protector's Pride and the accessory Fraternal Badge work against tank aggro. Finally I think the Ogre class should be higher just for the sheer utility of it, for sure better than the swordsman class. I feel like classes should be characterized by how they do in terms of Regular Attack phase and Chain Attack phases.

I see where you're coming from with Full Metal Jaguar needing to constantly move and you'll miss auto as a min-maxer. I was upset by this too and I ended up forgoing the Rear Positional and just grabbing the boss by the horns and tanking them. If you haven't tried the build on the channel then I highly recommend it whenever you get free time. The loss of the Rear Positional requirements are not even noticeable with a 100% Art Uptime! @@Naztalgic_Memories unfortunately Island Sanctuary is juste solo Stuff.you can invite Friends to your Island but its just a nicer Hangout Spot. As a visitor you cant do anything related to the Island which is sad. So jeah my wife is working on her own Island. But tbh it is a nice Way to kill some time and doing relaxing Stuff outside of the Game but its not like the real Animal Crossing where you can customize nearly everything. You have fixed locations where you build specific Buildings. With that said in the End every Island will look nearly the same in the End. But ill take it. Its fun.

I generally don't factor in the build up before a Chain Attack since I make my team to get a Chain Attack in the first 30 seconds of a fight if you've seen any of the builds on my channel. If the build excels outside of Chain Attacks then that's a different argument but as for Stalker it's only good in a Chain Attack like you said. If I was to rate all classes in and out of a Chain Attack then it would be a different list but I personally only care about min-max damage during a Chain Attack or Outside depending on a job and not both. If you have seen my Smash or Pass Build for Swordfighter and still think it's not S tier then it could just be a difference in playstyle. While tanks do lose their viability this list was to help the average player who still runs a tank and it would be wrong to just give all the tanks a lower rating because it's not META. You can still run a tank and do just fine. Once again thank you for commenting! It was nice to see your perspective and it's okay to disagree as long as we agreed on overall on most things!

Ogre to S Only change Id make just because the class is too self sufficient. Hits too hard. Chain attacks are crazy with Sena piloting and it can almost full combo an enemy from Break status literally by itself. The class is absolutely nuts

That is true Joey but I mostly focus on maximizing damage and Auto Attacks don't work in a Chain Attack making it a dead Passive. If you haven't already, I highly recommend checking out my Full Metal Jaguar Build on the channel. It only uses four Auto-Attacks and then it can infinitely use its Arts! Very fun and easy build to use.

While this is a good point if you're not running Signifer then you're trolling. Since Signifer doesn't really have heals then you'd need another Healer because Troubador lacks a good heal too. Hence why it's A and not S for me. If I may add to your Chain Attack comment, try using a Crystal Earring for even faster Chain Attacks!

I'd have to give that a try Asprin! I was mostly focused on Chain Attacks because all you need is one to finish any fight as of Patch 1.1.0. If I had three Healers then it would be less damage during the Chain Attack but perhaps just outside Chain Attacks I can see how strong that is. I'll check it out next time I play!

Oh also a tip I saw somewhere. There is a class whose master art pauses buffs. A way to make it absolutely broken is that Noah learns a master art which makes him invincible at the beginning, if you interlink with Mio it will also give the buff to her, if you're able to keep using the master art you can effectively make Noah and Mio invincible for the rest of the battle

I honestly don't understand how to make Zephyr work against the lvl 200 boss. Mio dies in one auto attack unless she sits inside 10 defence up circles and has a bunch of buffs from signifier. And this just isn't sustainable for the entirety of the boss fight I feel like. Meanwhile guardian commander lanz takes hits without a problem and manages to keep agro most of the time even when controlled by ai.

She does get one shot but only if she gets hit. If you build her for max Evasion it happens every so often but I'll take that over Heavy Guard anyday. You mentioned Guardian Commander. Is this a typo because Lanz's default job is Heavy Guard which I rated D tier. Now if it isn't a typo then yes, Guardian Commander is good so what you're experiencing and writing matches.

@@Naztalgic_Memories I meant I have lanz in guardian commander (not in his basic class) and he is a very good tank. I guess I'll try to make Zephyr work again (I really want it to be good!) But I honestly don't know how to make passive evasion work more often. There doesn't seem to be anything besides the gem and a couple of accessories.

@@user-ud5uo8fm4x I’m not sure if there is some confusion here but Lanz is fine playing any job. Him as a character had nothing to do with me giving him a D rank. It was his default class Heavy Guard being the issue. I’d suggest using Tactician’s Hazy Figure Field Art. Also save Wide Slash for when the boss is using an Art or physically shows it’s going to attack you to mitigate damage by Evading it.
