another good tip. thank you as always! i have a question - if i load a dedicated drum kit from one of the expansions, i only have 16 pads to work with. Is there a way to add additional samples of my choice to the rest of the drum kit in unused slots? i cant seem to do this
@Expectaz2 ай бұрын
In note mode you can select any of the 64 Pads and press load. You can even have 128 pads filled if you use the shift + octave up button

@@Expectaz ok you're right. i think i asked a wrong question. here's my more accurate question: is there a way to load a new drum kit within a already existing drum kit? i want to combine different drum kits into one mega kit if that makes sense..
@Expectaz2 ай бұрын
I haven’t tried it myself, but Maxipok did a video on it. Hope that’s what you’re looking for 😁 kzbin.infoS2SCg6LeU-Q?si=Jonpa7DURr1VDKbC

Is there also a way to quickly trim them that they get individual new samples besides flattening, please?
@Expectaz2 ай бұрын
Yes it’s in the same pop-up. Create a drum track with new samples

Can you copy a sound from a kit on one track and paste it to another pad on a different track that has a different kit?
@Expectaz25 күн бұрын
Yes, that's possible! To do this, press the "CLIP" button. Make sure the 3rd tab is displayed, called "CLIP". It's next to grid in the top left. Press the edit bnutton with the pencil. Choose "Copy Pads" Here you can select where to copy to

@@Expectaz Thanks I will try this today… I have a few machines and everyone works differently… just the other day I was following a Dub tutorial on KZbin for the SP404mk2. The SP has many banks of samples but you can only really perform with one bank of 15 pads (mute and unmute samples). I am going to try and recreate this workflow on the Force but I know it will take me a while to set it up with all the samples at the right bpm and the other thing that comes to mind… the page where you have 16 pads bottom left and the sequencer on the top pads is how I would usually work but I want to use all the pads for samples (have all pad’s populated with samples) then sequence them all on step one… the sp handles this really quickly by switching between the sequencer and the pads in TR rec mode by pressing sub pad button, I know the Force will be be a better machine to Dub on ( I have never made a Dub track but muting and unmuting tracks is a great jam) because of the way it can route effects but I also know I will be back to a learning curve switching from the SP to the Force…. Really I should deadicate my time on one machine only.
@Expectaz24 күн бұрын
Yeah it really helps to focus on one machine sometimes. I also fall into the pitfall of wanting to go everywhere 😁 It’s so much fun to go and play but to learn it’s good to dedicate some time for one machine
