As a South American I can assure you Iguazu falls is outstanding but it is not the most impressive natural place in South America. Check out Lençóis Maranhenses national park(brazil) jalapão state park(Brazil) Patagonia(Argentina and Chile), and lastly the Andes mountain(Peru).

The brazilian side of the Falls has greater view and the argentinian side you can get closer of the falls by foot. Can´t miss the boat safari, that´s mandatory. The chopper ride is amazing even if you are in a budged. Great cousine in both brazilian and argentian sides, great shops and mall in Argentina and great prices in Paragay (guided trip strongly recommended). The Iguazu National Park in Brazil will let close enconters with the most amazing birds ever. It is a 4-5 day trip.

Those falls had completely struck me dumb. As we went to the gorge, I suddenly felt as if I was standing right in front of Mother Nature's enormous statue, and she looked down at me, daring me to challenge her. This place is phenomenal. You are completely shocked by the exquisite and stunning grandeur of it and it really shows that no amount of human hands nor brains could ever rival with what nature can accomplish by itself.

I am living in Canada 2 hours from Niagara. Every year I visit it. I love it but when I saw Iguasu(the great water) I fell in love with it much more beautiful than Niagara. I told everyone you have to visit Iguassu if not half of your lives are wasted. I promised myself I have to go back. It felt like Niagara calling me to visit every year but this time Iguassu is calling me back.

And make sure you keep an eye out for the humming birds! They're amazing here. Wow!!! Iguazú, one of the greatest waterfalls. It is thunderous and the roaring waters are mighty. It's an equal. BUT Iguazú is good only for sightseeing, picture picture, or making video. Yeah it ends there!!! Something is missing!!! What i mean is the enjoyment!!! They can't even swim or even jumping from the cliff. Or frolic yourself to your hearts content all day. No moments! No connection with you! Sometimes smaller ones are better than bigger ones. But anyway it is AMAZING and WONDERFUL!!!

You can see Iguazu Falls from Argentina´s site. They are really far away from Brazil. When I went there I couldn´t believe my eyes. Argentina is far the most beautiful country from all South America and it has many different landscapes in the north, south, east and west. It is a great advice to visit all the country apart fom Iguazu Falls!!!!
