I come from the densely populated Hong Kong and I went to Yosemite last May. It was spectacular and stunning, a view I can never forget... It is the best place of anywhere I went to. I swear I will come again.

I had the same feeling after first seeing Yosemite, I actually hadn't seen any photos of it before getting there. Later in my trip I also visited Zion, which was as breathtaking as Yosemite (maybe even a bit more, for me). So, I recommend visiting Zion national park too, I'm sure you'll love the views from there!

Yosemite was the closest thing I ever had to a religious experience. Paying the fee and driving into the upper valleys green fields with the snow packed mountains in the distance, small ponds and flowing rivers on each side was something videos can’t capture.

I backpacked Yosemite 3 times in the late 70's . Climbed Half Dome on one visit. That was the most beautiful place I have been. I was 28 at the time.I will be 63 in April. After seeing this video I am putting Yosemite on my bucket list. I live in Va. now so i must re visit.

For those that never been, yes it's more beautiful then the video, or any video for that matter. The one thing that struck me is how small you'll feel and how peaceful it is. But there is a downside, it does get extremely crowded and that crowds does take away from the experience. Best time to go is early spring to early summer. Less crowd, you'll get the full effects of the falls then you would in autumn, the air is fresher, gas and lodging is also cheaper.

@@Keepontravelling Not OP but live in Danville and have been to Yosemite multiple times. The drive is fairly safe and easy except when you get close to the valley and the roads can get fairly windy. The best route for a beginner is simply to use Google maps or other app to get to the tunnel view entrance. When you enter the valley though the tunnel there is an amazing view of the valley.

I have made 16 trips to Yosemite (I live a few hours away) and have hiked 100+ miles of trails there. This video is very well done! The #1 Yosemite tip. Get up very early (right when it is getting light, at 5 or 6am ). You will beat the heat, and especially the crowds! Otherwise finding a place to park can be nearly impossible.

One of the most amazing experiences you will ever have, is to stand underneath Bridal Veil falls and be surrounded/hit by the mist. The feeling is surreal. It is like 650 feet high and the volume of water is simply amazing. The high country hikes and vistas are also incredible. The Hetch Hetchy Valley is amazing also and a lot less people.

I am really impressed that Expedia put together such a well-rounded video explaining Yosemite so well. I don’t do much traveling, flying or otherwise. but if I find myself I need of a flight Expedia is the first web site I will use thanks to this video they produced or uploaded. it really shows that they care about the user experience more than trying to make a sale. it sole focus I feel was on Yosemite and I’m grateful for this video and company doing this.

I love this park! Visited it twice, living in the campgrounds and enjoying the atmosphere. Tioga road is the most beautiful road in the park. I was in October, it was so cold especially at night, but less people than in spring and in summer. I was surprised my friends from California have never been there but I am ready to flight to Yosemite from Russia))
