Outstanding video. The history of coal mining in the US is a great part of our history.

Fascinating, I never knew there was a coal mine in E Texas. I agree that steam powered equipment needs to be preserved! Your cameraman should have gotten some better shots of the equipment. For no other reason other than to document its lay out and current condition. Should deterioration continue for years to come. A Lidar scan of the property would reveal most all of the mine openings.

Thank you for what you do . Alot of people would want to know about it. Maybe raise money to help. We don't live that far away. Talk to lady at museum and if they cleared it , possibly use angled mirrors that would reflect in there or remove panels and put glass up I think people would pay a fee to go tour it. That would probably be a way to raise money for removing it or make that a museum.

The mine had been closed off and buried decades before.

I don’t even like this show, and I WILL NOT be watching this another 12 times on my way to sleep....

Actually, I rather like it. Anything concerning Texas always piques my interest. TCR, Texas Bucket List, Texas Daytripper and now Expedition Texas are on my “must watch” list.
