This was absolutely crazy! Not only the volcano itself but all the Organisation. Even compared to other more remote volcanoes this is really far from anything 😄 looking forward to Karangetang. I will head to Siau and Flores next year ☺️

This is Lewotolok, not Lewotobi which has erupted recently. They are quite close, but Lewotobi is located on East Flores 🙏🏻

Yes, the lava dome was emitting a faint glow indicative of high internal temperatures and possible growth also.
