Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game Switch Review

I’ve done a lot of traveling around this great Southern Land, and sometimes that meant taking the road less traveled in my trusty 4-wheel drive, or “Fourby” as we say here in Aus. Sometimes it’s a precise art, carefully mapping out your path and following the tracks left in the sand or mud, and sometimes it’s a bit of the ol’ “She’ll be right mate as you go hell-bent for leather and make your own path. Focus Interactive seemed to know this feeling well and decided that not all car games have to be a racing one, and seemingly made offroading a strategy game. What’s it Like? Wow what a cool game and surprised it ran as well as it does on the Switch. Not usually my type of game but I think it’s worth a pick up (pun definitely intended)

Ayooo! I see what you did there. Certainly a unique genre of game and yeah it's a very tidy port on the Switch. I did see how it looks on the Series X and it's got its compromises on handheld but still holds up.

That's awesome that you gave it such a good score. Some people have described this game as a puzzle game with cars. I bought this because I also have Mudrunner and Snowrunner for the Switch but haven't played them yet, I read this is geared to be a introduction point for new players because it differs a lot from the other 2 games. Also concerning content, Snowrunner has a crazy 4 year's worth of dlc so this could very well see a good amount also.

I've read both Snow and Mud Runners are full on games and I've added them to my wishlist

and they even announces a new seasson pass for this Year honestly snowrunner its amazing for me it feels like a car RPGish

I'm playing this on my lil switch lite, once you get use to this game it's awesome and we don't say awesome here in the uk👍

Yeah its something I would have overlooked but I'm so glad I picked it up. I'll be playing this for a long time! Glad you're enjoying it! I just unlocked the PUG after spending an hour or 2 towing it back to base so looking forward to decking that out

I have 4 games on my Switch Lite that i picked up at the end of 2023 in a warehouse deal for £120 for Dark Souls alone, i have Ds1 Truck Driver Mudrunner American Wilds and Expeditions👍@@whatsitlikeau

Let me know what you think of Snowrunner and Mudrunner. I hear they are much more in depth than Expeditions and I'm so keen to try them

Doesn't do anything graphically, but has added mod support which is exciting!

I'm still playing it after review which rarely happens these days. It's a very slow paced game and very challenging and I love it.

@@whatsitlikeau im torn between this and '' off the road unleashed'', my daughter really liked the demo and that you can fill up and fix the car you can also get out and walk around, the quality on this seems better tho graphics wise

The graphics are abysmal on this game. I returned it and got the Series X version like I should have done in the first place….

I didn't mind them that much, I guess I'm used to the dynamic blur with the spate of releases in the past 12 months. I would have loved to have this on my Series X though. I'm still doing expeditions from time to time
