Welcome to Malaysia!!! As a Malaysian I recommend trying Malaysia Chinese food in Ipoh (as Ipoh has more Chinese population, the other states can be Malay/Indian food) Ipoh is very famous for their Ipoh White Coffee (coffee made with condensed milk (honestly palm based creamer but the secret lies in Ipoh Water ) Ipoh water is very soft, it impacts the coffee as well as Tau fu far (Soymik pudding likee) and yeah Malaysia has very yummy chicken!! You must try our fried chicken with rempah (malay spice) or even the macdonalds fried spicy chicken lol

Great to see you guys enjoying the food in Ipoh. I grew up in Ipoh but has lived in Sydney now for almost 20 years. How I miss the food in Ipoh. You guys must try the Nasi Ganja at Jalan Yang Kalsam and the Hokkien Noodle at Paris Restaurant. If Dalena liked the Ipoh hor fun, wait till you try the one in Thean Chun! Then there is the Kheng Lim salted chicken (goes down great with iced cold beer), Funny Mountain Tau Fu Fa, Yee Fatt curry noodle, Dai Shu Keok, Yum Cha at Ming Court.... So how many weeks are you guys in Ipoh for?
