While I like the book, a lot of things frustrated me. I feel like every other chapter we find out another secret that Danika was keeping from Bryce! And every time Bryce is like, "Why wouldn't Danika tell me this" or "No, Danika would have told me!" And I am over here like "NO SHE WOULDN'T!! She never told you anything. Was she even your friend?" I was getting second-hand embarrassment for Bryce every time something new was revealed about her supposed best friend'.

I just found out about Sarah I Maas through this channel in Nov. 2021. I am obsessed to the point I have read all of Acotar both Cc and started tog. If you do a re read I am there. My Goal is to read all her books this year.

Yes please make a video on all your theories because God!!! The ending!! Sarah in one of her interviews said that it's gonna be like Avengers 😍how everyone gets together and fight. And also that the ending of hosab takes place shorty after acosf. How everyone will be protective of nyx because Bryce is like an alien to them. It also means that hosab takes place during the war in koa and the ending of hosab takes place shorty after the war in koa. Whoa. Anyway, I am really afraid to see what happens. I think that princess theia was from acotar world and now as asteri is planning to take over the universe and destroy planets so they eventually will hv to get together. But I also believe and it would be great to hear your thoughts on it...that fae in acotar world are much stronger than in any other Sarah's world's especially hoeab. For example the winnowing is hard in hosab whereas in acotar series they can can winnow full armies and this is also something the autumn king said that the fae were losing their powers and weren't strong enough now. God. I am just super excited. And yayyyy. Pls make a video on your theories.

Theory: Danika and Rowan are 100% related because Rowan for sure has the bloodhound trait he could smell who Aioden’s dad was and that Lysandra was a shifter

I had this on as background noise and had to stop towards the end because of the theory you have. I’ve recently started the Throne of Glass series (on book #3) and now may have to read her other book series. Throne of Glass so far has gotten me out of my reading slump.

Okay, a third comment. I am so sorry. I have a friend who read ToG, then CC and didn't catch what the ending of HOSAB meant. I now instructed him - I am so fearful he'll get spoiled - to stay away from the internet until he read ACOTAR but he finished book 1 and still is oblivious to where Bryce landed. He's in the middle of ACOMAF and it hasn't clicked yet. It's the funniest thing ever :D I really want to know how it clicks for him and when. I am the worst at being patient haha

Excited to watch this and see what you think, personally i have loved every single SJM book...except for this one. By the end i really, really, really hated it and was so disappointed. I was enjoying it until maybe the half way point, and then it really all fell apart for me, i felt like Bryce and co. were making very stupid, not thought out decisions, and then having no repercussions for them. Everything was happening way too easily and conveniently, to the point where i found it impossible to suspend disbelief. It felt to me like a first draft, and all points of conflict were just placed there, and then SJM was gonna go back and make them more believable, or more real feeling, and then just never did. And that ending 😂 it honestly filled me with rage, i hated it sooooo much. I'm still gonna try to read SJMs future book in both ACOTAR and this one, but i really think she might have completely ruined both series for me with that ending 😥

I didn't read the first book yet, but I plan to; I just wanted to say that I read mostly on my tablet (I have kindle), and I love it; I like the fact that I can highlight passages I like or put notes on them; I don't mind hearing spoilers because most of the time I forget them, 💙💙💙

This book literally bored and frustrated me to tears. I have also come to the conclusion that I hate Bryce more than Aelin and that Bryce is the epitome of a mean girl with her clique. She truly is Regina George. The "plot" also falls apart if you think about it for more than 3 seconds and everything happens off page. The ending was just no and such a cop out for what could have been an amazing series and then we get a book with just frustrating filler.

I'm so used to reading long urban fantasy series and it happens often where the sequel a slower because the author is focusing on the characters and building up to what will happen in the next book. I think many people didn't like it because they expected an explosive climax like the first book, but it makes sense that in the second book it wasn't like that because they're fighting a greater entity, so they need to gain information and ways to defeat them.

I know you finished 2 months ago, and maybe it's been said already; but I just finished last night and this was one of my theory. I think the reason she went to Velaris is because she had the Star sword. And because the Star sword/Gwydion was free from Bryce`s world it can sense Truth-Teller and wanted to be reunion with its "twin". ... And yes please do a theory video or just a Maas book talk video. I'm deep in the Maas world hole... again. Lol
